It is a fine hotel. Hotel staff is highly hospitable. Rooms are nice and facilities are good.worth staying. I talked to the staff personally. They are very nice and hard working. The manager or the owner is very nice and hospitable.

checking into the hotel was a big exercise. there was No wifi at location. Hotel hosts didn’t know English well. But Absolutely gorgeous property with well maintained garden and swimming pool. simple breakfast and typical srilankan dinner with limited menu. we loved the fact that there was no wifi. for once my family and I could just hang out in the huge property and enjoy the nature. thanks Roshan and Prasad for taking care of us. we enjoyed the stay at eight wonder.

Everything about this place was disappointing. We'd booked the double treehouse, it was incredibly dark and oppressive, the rooms were adjouned and with the door open, it took up a large footprint in the room, making it even more claustrophobic. The kicker was that there was no running water in the room. Because of the water issue we were moved to another room - a cement bungalow. It was a struggle to get the room equipped...ie: they couldn't understand why we wanted more than one towel for four people. The wifi wasn't working and it took repeated requests to get a router moved to provide wifi for guests. The owner or manager seemed to default to lying to please guests.for example he kept changing when our laundry would be complete, even though getting it back in teo hours was obviously not realistic. The pool was green and dirty and we didn't use it.

We were drawn to book the treehouse here by the impression created of a well-run eco-resort close to nature. We could not have got it more wrong. The accommodation is basic and we were prepared for that, stray dogs and everything, but the manager had no clue that we had booked the treehouse, which then turned out to have a broken lock that we were unable to operate. We were offered an alternative, which was damp and dimly lit, in which the shower didn't work properly and ants and cockroaches were all over the place. Unwashed dishes littered the kitchen and glasses were left in tables for hours at a time, even though staff were on duty. We were told that water from the cooler was fit to drink, only to see it being refilled from the tap. There were no mattresses on the sunbeds, which in turn sat beside an unloved and dirty pool, with loose and lifting planks around the side of it. The car organised by the hotel charged us twice what we discovered to be the market rate and then refused to give us a refund - manager pointed at driver, driver pointed at manager.....picture the scene. We had booked through Bookings.com and asked for a reduction (they are charging $80/night when a nicer place very close by turned out to be charging $30/night for something nicer). We were offered a paltry refund by the owner and decided to check out after 2 nights instead of 4. The manager repeatedly failed to arrange a booking amendment with the owner despite repeated assurances that he would (his behaviour was consistent in this regard: plenty of good words and zero action). In the end we paid full rate for two days and later discovered that the owner had registered us as a 'no show' presumably so he will be able to charge us full rate. Good luck with that my friend. Needless to say we will not return. The owner/manager combination are doing a real disservice to a wonderful part of Sri Lanka, full of very lovely and welcoming people. They do not deserve to stay in business.

This is my second visit and compared to last visit this was very bad experience, no staff for service no reception istto well one us and no front office. Old person who is care taker who checked us in which was awful experience. Food was horrible. Room was not cleaned and rain shower is so bad no hot water. No Wifi in the room. Doors are broken and space in between. We booked this place for 2 nights and checked in 1 night stay. Rooms and amenities are outdated. Bathroom stinks and bugs everywhere.
