We stayed here for one night and wished we had stayed longer. The rooms are spacious and very clean, and the beds are big - the best accommodation we have had in Sri Lanka. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. They rent bikes for 300 rupees to explore the area, however make sure you pick a 'good'... More

A short stay in a modest, fresh, clean place owned by friendly and honest people. Great meal a good location. And with a small talk we could realized roots from our country, since the owner's father surname was Silva, heritage of the Portuguese occupation on the island :)

We were given a wonderful friendly welcome by all the staff who couldn't have been more helpful. The owner was very knowledgeable about the area and gave us plenty of helpful tips. The food was delicious traditional Sri Lankan curry. The best we had. A great budget place to stay but ask for air con rooms as they do not... More

The rooms are quite okay, good value for money! Clean and spacious with fan and/or aircon. The location is not too far away from the main attractions. The breakfast was quite decent and we had a really good rice and curry with fried fish in the evening. The best thing about the place is the owner. He is ready to... More

This modest place surprised us with how good it was. The 500 rupee evening meal was exceptional and the staff were friendly throughout. Bike hire was free on day one and a modest 300 rupee on day two - a great way to see the nearby ancient city. A great choice for families or couples on a budget.

Leesha guesthouse was lovely! Great staff gave us lots of advice on visiting the ruins, we rented bikes (300rs each) to go and see them. The bedrooms are big and spacious with good mosquito nets, fans as standards and AC if you pay extra. Big bathroom with hot water. Everything very clean. Amazing food, dinner and breakfast were delicious! Only... More

Excellent and enjoyable stay. Upari is a wonderful host and really takes care of you. Rooms are simple, but clean. They have hot water and AC. The atmosphere is family oriented and welcoming. Definitely reccomended. The in house meals are delicious and breakfast of fresh fruit starts your day off in the right way.

Very nice homestay, with super nice host that picked me up at the bus station, and brought me back there the next day in scooter! Spatious rooms, with outdoors space, for only 1800 rps the dinner was delicious as well. The host can help you with any information you need!

We are riding our bikes through Sri Lanka and as we approached Polonnaruwa we were inundated with offers of accommodation. We checked out a couple and then tried the Leesha Tourist Home. So glad we did. It immediately felt good with a warm welcome from Sunil who greeted us and showed us the rooms. They were spacious and clean with... More

We were picked up by Mr. Upali just at the moment we were checking the lonely planet for advice on where to stay near polowarunna. He arranged a tuktuk for us and we took one of the downstairs rooms with a/c because it was really hot at the time. It's been great to stay there, the rooms are clean, the... More
