Good local food but very overpriced given it’s a basic local style and standard restaurant. 900 rupees for a basic rice and curry set and 150 rupees for a drinking coconut is pricey compared to previous experiences
We stayed here when we visted the elephants in Pinnawala. 😎 Staff very friendly, happy to help. Rooms was best we stayed in so far, bed was really comfortable clean linen finally. Highly recommended staying here if you intend to visit elephants. Kerry & Ian UK
The room was good, big, spacious and modern, with new furnishings and bathroom. It lacks a thorough cleaning but considering the price point, I would give the room and stay a 5/5. The reason I am giving it a three star overall was my food experience and their cheekiness. The food was sub par but I felt cheated. Their menu that they gave me at night when I arrived had decent prices. While having dinner I planned out my breakfast, which was a clubsandwich priced 2 euros in the menu, however they charged it 5 euros when checking out and when asked why they said that that is their price for the morning, and did not give a valid explanation, and refused further discussion, concluding that this is how they operate. This may be a minor matter, but it left a bitter overall experience. Vin & Olle…
