We stayed for 3 nights on two different occasions. Guest House is located 5 mins tuk tuk from city( cost 250lkr) and if you wish its about a 30 min walk to the city centre/lake we paid 2500 for a double room en-suite, a balcony, room was small but nice. bathroom also very small and a little grubbier than the...

I stayed for three nights and was really happy with my stay. The guesthouse itself is simply but tastefully decorated, with comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, and (in some rooms) soft pillows (a real rarity so far on my travels in Sri Lanka!!). The common areas are lovely, there's a beautiful big porch to sit and talk or read, and a...

From the moment that the owner picked me up from the train station I felt that he wasn't genuinely kind. I had them do some laundry for me and when I realised that one of my items were missing, I asked them about it.The lady told me that her daughter had returned along with all my other clothes. When I...

We stayed here for 2 nights and were very pleased with the service. The guesthouse itself is a bit of a walk (~15mins) from the train station but is nicely tucked away so you feel you're away from the city. The hosts are very warm and welcoming and the staff very friendly. They made us feel at home which was...

We stayed here for 2 nights. This was a lovely setting just 5 minutes from Kandy city by tuk tuk but away from the hustle and bustle in the hills. It was like staying in the botanical gardens. Beautiful cottage type garden with well stocked flowers etc. The host (Pipi) and her family were lovely, guest hosts and very helpful....

thank you pipi and sri for the lovely experience we had at your lovely family run guest house. this guest house is located just outside kandy, 20 mins walk but we enjoyed it so much as kandy is so polluted and we thought this place had space to breath fresh air. Pipi is maintaining a nice garden where we could...

I had no luck it was raining all the time so no way of enjoying the landscape. The room was clean, I even had warm water. But the breakfast is not included, I learnt it at the end. 500 roupies for a few toasts and a cup of coffee. Also the supper is expensive but good.

A restful retreat away from cental Kandy. It's 25 mins walk up a hill, or 250 rupees in a tuk tuk. Rooms are clean enough and comfortable but on the small size. The food portions are generous and tasty. Most ingredients come from the owners garden. There is a 10% service charge on your final bill, which isn't very well...
