Welcoming hosts, tasty home cooked meals, manicured gardens, clean rooms, great upstairs lounging area, keep an ear out for the early morning migration of monkeys making there way through the tree tops.. Good base to return to after a day of exploring and sight seeing. Short three wheeler ride to town, or walkable if keen.( it is a bit uphill), but... More

Stayed 2 nights in a small room on first floor with one double bed and an extra bed (small army bed). We felt definitely cramped as a family with 2 kids and the bathroom was very small too (shower almost above the sink and only millimeters between the toilet bowl and the door). There is however a huge common area... More

Someone in Ella told us about this hotel. It greatly surpassed our expectations! Our host was extremely kind and has gives great attention to details. She supplied information on where to go and what to do while in Kandy. And the guest house is absolutely lovely. The garden is fantastic and the personnel are smiling and helpful.

We stayed at St bridgets for two nights and everything was just perfect. We were welcomed with wonderful passionfruit ice and towels. The rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable. We also recommend having dinner there. The rice and Curry was great! The owners are very nice and helpful! The place is a little outside of the crowded city... More

We had a lovely stay here. We were given a very welcome pot of tea when we arrived, and everything was very relaxed. Great breakfasts and dinners, and far more than we could ever eat. The hosts organised a driver for us for a day, so that we could go into the hills and see the tea plantations, and did... More

The guesthouse is a bit far away from the center (250 rupees by tuk tuk), which was a plus for us. The garden is very relaxing and the room nice and clean. We over exploited the knowledges of the manager, who helped us a lot. The food has to be mentioned: breakfast and dinner were among the best we had... More

We enjoyed our stay at this guest house. It is located a 5 minutes tuk tuk ride away from the centre (250 rupees), in a quiet house with a lovely garden. The owners are very friendly and gave us extremely helpful advice on our visit of Kandy and Sri Lanka. Our room was at 3000 rupees (excl breakfast) and was... More

We enjoyed our stay there very much. The rooms were simple but nice and the breakfast great and rich in choices. The couple running the place were very friendly and helpful, although the attractions they suggested were somewhat touristic - which is understandable but we were looking for the more local options! Note that it is not an easy or... More

The owners were very friendly and the daughter drew us a map to come to the elephants house. The room was clean and had a nice view. The dining room was glased and surrounded by the jungle - beautiful! The food was so delicious! You have to take the dinner - it was the best of our whole Sri lanka... More
