The rooms were pristine, the beds were quite comfy, and the staff was excellent. They went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Tharuk, the restaurant supervisor, was especially helpful and friendly. Anyone visiting Hikkaduwa should stay at this hotel.

Visited this place which is located with a great sea view that has a calm and relaxing atmosphere. From the Help Desk we received a warm welcome. Staff is very professional, friendly and helpful. We received a wonderful service. The room was very spacious and contained all the amenities. We had a comfortable stay with an eye catching view of sea side from the balcony. Food was mouthwatering and delicious. We were well content with everything. Hotel was family-friendly with a great hotel bar. Mr. Indika Sirimanne - Executive Housekeeper at Turyaa, a friendly pleasant personality, who was always eager to help us and made us feel we were at home in every way. Highly recommended Very good sea view and tasty foods. very friendly staff. We were given a beautiful clean room. This was our 1st visit at Turyaa. We really enjoyed our honeymoon stay with them. Front Office staff are very courteous all the time. We will surely come back. Thank you for the wonderful service given to us.

This hotel is quite exceptional. Sri Lanka is going through a tough time with the lack of Western guests and this showed at this hotel, Having said that the hotel was full of Sri Lankan guests of weekend which was an absolute pleasure to see and meet 'local guests'. The management are doing an excellent job at balancing guest service in light of the reduction of guests due to Covid and obviously the need to run a business. In short - Food - excellent the best we have had in Sri Lanka. Lots of variety and the curries were amazing. Pools and surrounds - Very good, clean and with attentive pool staff. House keeping - Very very good with lovely rooms and views. Spa - Excellent massages, professionalism and treatments. Thank you. Bars- Very good service but only 1 bar open owing to the number of guests. This was not a problem. Animation Team - None seen. I know they had an animator as we occasionally saw her but we did not see her really do anything other than play music on one day by the pool. The other days the music was left to reception who seemed to only have one ABBA CD : ) There was no yoga, water polo, aqua aerobics etc. I suggest the hotel look at to whether they get value for money from this employee. All in all an excellent holiday and we would return without hesitation. Thank you…

Beautiful big hotel with a great beach view, great facilities with mouth watering food. We had a bit disappointing checked in as there was a problem with the door automatic key and it was not opening. The door opened with the master key and offered us to sit inside . We were bit worried as that was our final weekend had only limited time as my wife is returning back to Europe . I wish to state that issue was immediately addressed by the Front office manager by the name of Ms. Navoda offered a another room right away with our request made for a king size single bed even in the rush situation .Very professional approach with high standards of hospitality and also great follow up by her self until our return and offered a late check out too.. Definitely we will be vising again once my spouse return Srilanka near future .…

It was a remarkable holiday experience at Thuryaa hotel and food was very nice. View also great at 6th floor. They arranged sea view room. Wow that was great. Staff also very helpful and supportive. Cocktails they officer was great. Highly reccomended.
