I enjoyed this brilliant and tranquil hotel. The colour washed walls and plants were vibrant signs of being in the tropics, the food and service were great and the spacious suites and swimming pool made for a relaxed and fun stay. I would recommend this property.
This was our third 4-day stay in this elegant oasis of calm on the south coast between Galle and Hikkadawa. The rooms in this small boutique hotel are the ultimate in luxury and comfort, with a terrace with day bed and plunge pool. The greatest strength of the hotel is its staff, many of whom are long-standing. One is welcomed as family and nothing is too much trouble. The restaurant serves an excellent array of local food, as well as that from other cultures. However, the food and beverages are very expensive. The swimming pool is a central asset to the hotel, so once a family with children screaming in the pool (in itself understandable) arrives, all the calm and tranquillity of the place, for which one craves, is destroyed. Likewsie with dining. We are unlikely to return, unless the hotel becomes adult only. This is our third 4-day stay, with only one being an adult only experience. …
We were at Aditya for 2 days with our 12 year old son and the holiday was amazing. The ambience of the hotel was great. All staff were caring and supportive and was very attentive to all our needs. They had a wide variety of delicious food. Rooms were super clean and spacious, the room had a great sea view and the pool was amazing. We all enjoyed our vacation and will surely visit again.
Introduction: My wife and I stayed at Aditya Hotel in Rathgama Sri Lanka last November for our wedding, and we had the most magical experience. Having visited many 5-star and boutique hotels in Sri Lanka over the past 15 years, I can confidently say that Aditya Hotel is the best one. From the location, food, rooms to the exceptional service, everything was top-notch. Location: Aditya Hotel is situated in a great location with stunning views of the Indian Ocean. It is a perfect place to relax and unwind, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The hotel is surrounded by lush greenery, which adds to the tranquil ambiance. Food: The food at Aditya Hotel was exceptional. The chefs used fresh and high-quality ingredients to prepare a variety of dishes, including gourmet and street food. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. We were impressed by the attention to detail that went into every meal. Rooms: The rooms at Aditya Hotel were spacious and luxurious. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were tastefully decorated with a blend of modern and traditional Sri Lankan elements. We particularly enjoyed the stunning views from our room, which added to the overall experience. Service: What really stood out at Aditya Hotel was the exceptional service provided by the staff. The staff were super attentive and went above and beyond to ensure that we had a memorable stay. No request was too much, and everything was done with a smile. We felt truly taken care of during our entire stay. Wedding Experience: Aditya Hotel worked closely with our wedding planner to deliver a truly magical and special experience. We entertained 250 guests over 3 days, and the hotel was booked out for our international guests. We held three separate events with different styles and themes, using different parts of the hotel and redecorating throughout. The food and drink were incredible throughout, and even our Sri Lankan guests, who have visited many top places in Sri Lanka, were blown away by Aditya Hotel. Conclusion: We want to thank every member of staff, especially Mr. Shamindra, Susil, and Indika, for making our wedding the most special time of our lives. Aditya Hotel in Rathgama Sri Lanka is truly a gem, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience.…
Aditya was a wonderful oasis to end our stay in Sri Lanka. The entrance is somewhat unprepossessing and I think could be improved but once you are at the entrance to reception the welcome is warm and the surroundings attractive. The staff are amazing and so helpful and nothing seems too much trouble. Delicious food from their talented chef and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Great to be offered a pillow menu which is usually something to be found at larger hotels. The garden area is pretty, but could be tidied up a little with more grass and nice lounging furniture but the area around the pool was perfect with beautiful vibrant colours on the parasols and lounger cushions. Although there can be some small tweaks made please do not change too much as the feeling here is one of peace and calm and space with so few rooms. A really lovely stay.…
Aditya is indeed Paradise on earth! We chose Aditya to have our wedding celebrations. We had booked the entire hotel for our family and guests for 3 nights. Shammi and his team went over and above to make this a perfect event. The location with its own private beach is truly beautiful. The wedding ceremony itself took place on the beach as well as the main reception dinner. It was an absolutely beautiful and stunning backdrop, with the beautiful blue ocean and the waves lapping the beach. The rooms are exceptionally large and beautifully designed with everything you could desire in a top class resort. Over and above the the beautiful location and the stunning room decor and design is the most wonderful hotel team. We were blown away by their top class level of service. Every single person of the team went over and above to make this wedding perfect. They are polite, courteous and nothing is too much trouble for them. I later discovered that the team were actually working throughout the 72 hours , only taking short breaks in between so that all the guests could party together, no matter what time of the night it was. The food is excellent of a very high standard. All our guests commented on the excellent spread of western and Sri Lankan cuisine. Truly it was a most wonderful experience and I have the Aditya team to thank for making this unforgettable for us and all our friends. I recommend Aditya to anyone who wants a magical experience in Sri Lanka.…
We thought for a long time in which location we would like to celebrate our wedding in Sri Lanka. Our goal was to find a unique location with attentive and caring staff. To our great fortune, we came across the Aditya Hotel. Our stay really could not have been more fantastic. Mr. Susil and his team put their hearts into giving us a magical time. The planning of the wedding was extremely professional. Our requests were great implemented and good ideas were added. Our questions were always answered promptly. In addition, the aditya with its distinctive network to other service providers such as a florist, traditional dancers, table decoration and DJ helped us a lot. The location itself is simply gorgeous. The hotel is a bit secluded from hikkaduwa and has a gorgeous beach. Overall the hotel is totally playful and the rooms with their individual decor blew us and our guests away. But the greatest thing about the aditya is clearly the entire team. Every single person is incredibly attentive and helpful. We felt wonderfully taken care of at all times. The staff have a great eye for details and the service is great and very professional. Furthermore the food is so delicious and outrageous. The chef and his team didn’t hesitate to make all our wishes come true and proved us the whole stay with a wonderful menue. We would like to thank the whole team again for our stay and would definitely recommend the aditya hotel to anyone for a relaxing vacation or upcoming celebration!!! 😊…
This was our third visit (26.01.23 to 02. 02.23). First time it was three nights, then six, and this time 7. At the end we wondered 'where did the week go?'. I endorse all other positive remarks. This is a place one gets addicted to. We visited another high class, beautiful and posh hotel in the area. The place was impressive, but there was something lacking. We wondered what. On coming back to Aditya it hit us. Homeliness! That's what Aditya is. A home from home. Without having to cook or clean. We will be back.
I stayed at the 'Sky Suite' with the private jacuzzi for 1 night with my wife and kid. The room and bathroom were huge. There is a sea view from the jacuzzi on the upper floor. The hotel has a boutique feeling to it with a touch of Sri Lankan and Indian architecture. The garden opens out to the beach. The food was very tasty and the staff were very kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place.
Loved the style, luxury and attention to detail at Aditya, and the service was exceptional. I can still picture the ocean view from our suite and hear the waves crashing. Bliss! We would love to return.
