Fantastic, sparkling clean and peaceful, great hosts, delicious breakfast. Close to railway and bus station and far away from the street noise. I spend two nights there and wanted to extend my stay but unfortunately it was overbooked. The owner found me a good alternative just next door. Great experience compared to what you can get in other places for these money. Highly recommend!
Stayed 3 nights at Nimali's and it was a very comfortable stay. The rooms and bathroom were large and recently refurbish and very new. Nimali's is a traditional Sri Lankan house with big windows to let in light and cool breeze, there was a large garden with chairs, so chilling out in the garden in the evening is possible, we did not have any problem with mosquitoes while we were at Nimali's. Cozy sitting area in the hall to have a cuppa tea and catch up with the day's travels. Sean, who owns and run this place with other family members, was very friendly and helpful. Nimali's is located in a little lane away from the main road, so noise was not a problem, the beach was just a 5 min walk away and the Hikkaduwa Railway station was also 5 minutes away which is an advantage if you are going to your next destination by rail. Wifi service at Nimali's was excellent. We didnt include breakfast in our bookings but that was not a problem, as food is readily available by just walking out onto the mail road.…
Nimali Guesthouse is a wonderful little 2 bedroom home away from home. Terry and his family are So accommodating and friendly, there really isn't much they Can't do for you. The rooms are spotless, the views onto the small village nearby is cute and sweet, the house is tucked away from the main road and is extremely quiet - and at night you can hear the roar of the ocean. This place has plenty potential in it and speaking to the owners I can tell that they have lovely plans for the guesthouse in the future. It's a work in progress and is simple, yet it covers All of your needs.
We stayed at Nimali for a few days whilst we visited Hikkaduwa. Terry and his family are all very friendly and really nice people. We needed to catch an early train from Beruwala and Terry and his family very kindly had the room ready for us as early as 10.30am. They do a great Sri Lankan breakfast which I’d recommend to anyone. Our room was very clean and nice and spacious, and the WiFi worked really well throughout our stay. I would definitely recommend to anyone planning to come to Hikkaduwa to stay at the Nimali Guest House.
Lovely family run home stay. Such nice and helpful people. Clean, spacious and bright property and room. The room is within the house but is still very private. Would definitely stay again. Breakfast was great. 4 mins walk from the beach and the reef for great snorkelling. Great wifi
