We were celebrating an anniversary! So the hotel had a special welcome for us and the hotel room was special decorated with flowers, so romantic and for dinner, they had a romantic dinner planned for us. We have no other words then FANTASTIC! The staff is very nice and always asking of everything is oké/fine. The food at the dinner buffet is very good and enjoyable for non-spicy eaters.

We arrived while it was raining and we were escorted to the room on a buggy. The room stay was a pleasant experience with a balcony opening up to luscious greenery. We booked a room on half board basis and enjoyed a delicious dinner buffet with a variety of many cuisines. We were welcomed by the friendly and pleasant service of Lahiru at the restaurant. The gardens and pool area of this resort are unsurpassed , it is a little piece of heaven. The staff were helpful and respectful. I had an issue downloading some files for work as the internet signal is sometimes weak in this location. The reception desk staff were very helpful. Wi-Fi is ok for what’s app and texting anything more will require sitting in the lobby, I enjoyed the bar area where I drank cocktails made from fresh mango. The pool is large and very clean. My breakfast was very special , the buffet is self selection however I was given a lovely basket with specially freshly baked bread and pastry.This was the best bakery products I have tasted in Sri Lanka. Enjoy a relaxing stay in the middle of the cultural triangle.

Lovely hotel with large rooms. Perhaps you can already feel some “tiredness” of the rooms and equipment, but in general this does not have a strong effect. All is clear. The staff is very polite. The pool is large, surrounded by a beautiful pond. For breakfast and dinner there is a large selection of both European and local dishes.

Located slightly away from the tourist town of Dambulla, this huge expanse of resort with in-house farm makes you feel welcome and relaxed. The ambience is relaxing, clean and well maintained. The room is clean, comfortable with all the modern equipment we expect in a five star hotel. I was given a free upgrade to a room with a view. The food was authentic and tasty. Even with very few guests, the spread both in dinner and breakfast was impressive with fresh vegetables picked from the in-house farm. The restaurant manager Shri. Domingo went out of his way to ensure that we have food as per our choice including providing boiling milk for the cornflakes. The swimming pool is clean, water was a comfortable 30 degree celcius and regular maintenance of the pool is obvious. There is also a well stocked bar near the swimming pool with a good selection of wines from Chile and South Africa. The signboard for farm visit could also be placed near the reception instead of only near the functional gym. The farm visit over a rickety foot bridge was memorable. Recommended for a relaxing stay amidst nature.

The staff were friendly and hospitable right from the time of reservation. We were offered a very personalized service. Very clean and hygienic. An eco-friendly environment, which made us feel relaxed. An ideal getaway from the hustle and bustle of life. There is room for improvement where the food is concerned though. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hotel to those who are on the lookout for a pleasant stay.
