I stayed at the Seerock hotel with my sister's family for two days during my last visit to Sri Lanka. It is a beautiful place with lush greenery that does not obscure the beautiful view of the Seegiri Rock from the hotel. All of the kabanas were built close to the water which made our stay feel like a peaceful trip to a lakehouse.
The local Sri Lankan cuisine we had during our stay was rich and made for an amazing meal selection throughout our stay. The fresh lake fish and vegetables were prepared for us by professional chefs who came to Seerock from other five star hotels.
The complimentary safari trip, arranged by the restaurant, offered guests to visit either the Minneriya or Kawudulla sanctuaries. The drivers choose the sanctuary location based on where they expect to see the most elephants. On my trip to the Minneriya sanctuary, we had the pleasure of being around hundreds of elephants in an open plain peacefully living around the sanctuary. It was truly incredible and an unforgettable experience.
My first time at the Seerock hotel was excellent and continued to impress me throughout my stay. The staff service was excellent and I recommend this hotel to anyone interested in visiting the Seegiri rock in Sri Lanka.

My family and I had the opportunity to be guests of Seerock the King's Domain Hotel in Sigiriya recently. This boutique hotel is situated in an amazing location and one of the best boutique hotels I have visited in the whole world. Living in a foreign country we expected high standards and the staff of the hotel was able to deliver same. The staff was able to 'WOW ' us with their extraordinary service standards. The food was amazing and well presented. The rooms were tastefully decorated. The hotel itself is worth your money as it has all amenities of a boutique hotel. We stayed one night at seerock The King’s Domian on 26 April 2021. We stayed in a Superior King Deluxe room which was luxuriously furnished and even included a fully functional Jacuzzi bath. Room was equipped with all the amenities required for a super luxury stay and my favorite was the cookie jar included with the complimentary tea and coffee station.
We had all 3 meals at the restaurant with breathtaking views of the Sigiriya and Pidurangala mountains. As the occupancy was low on the day we visited, the meals were ala carte and we relish the freshly prepared delicious food and drinks. We finished the day with a dip in to the beautiful swimming pool located at the edge of the property.
Staff were very attentive and provided excellent service from the moment we arrived until the moment we said our good byes reluctantly. Overall excellent stay and highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and luxurious stay which is lacking in big resorts. Definitely we will be back !

The hotel is very luxurious and finished to a high standard surrounded with beautiful gardens along with ponds. Our villa was spacious, comfortable, very clean and it was equipped with all modern facilities. All the rooms were named after Sri Lankan kings. That was a quite fun and nice experience when you share your room names with your cousins and friends. hehe.. Apart from that you have views of both Sigiriya Rock and Pidurangala rock from the restaurant. The swimming pool feels very luxurious in this relatively remote location. The quality of the food was amazing and the staff were very polite, attentive and their overall service was exceptional from the moment we stepped in and until the moment we stepped out!!! At the very last moment they even gave us the experience of shooting with air riffles!! It was so fun!! Can recommend this place for any sought of entertainment or vacation purpose to live the life away from busy and stressful environment of your day today schedules. Will be back for sure!!

We were looking for a romantic place to stay to visit Sigiriya and enjoy the surroundings and Seerock achieved this and more! The hotel is surrounded by greenery and respects the natural surroundings. There is an majestic main pavillion where the reception and raised dining and sitting areas area. The rooms are well spaced out around this. Each room is named after an ancient Sigiriya king which adds to the charm. Our room had a Jacuzzi tub which is extra welcome after scaling Sigiriya and Pidurangala Rock. If you can, I would splurge for a honeymoon suite which has its own private plunge pool. There is also a beautiful, large waterfall pool where you can also relax during your stay. The food is tasty and copious, with a menu of local and international options. Lastly, a highlight was the friendly and welcoming staff, especially Jinjanjalee the guest services manager who went above and beyond to make sure we had a special stay! Thank you very much for everything and we hope to return!

It is said that the journey is the best part of getting to the place of choice. Arriving at SeeRock after an incredible drive through the beauty of Sri Lanka was welcoming. The view of Sigirya, the peacocks, the landscape is all part of this magical place. The staff at See Rock was always attentive and friendly. Sithumina was always ready to assist with any request and always with his great smile. He seemed always available when I had questions and needed something. SeeRock is lucky to have such great people on their staff. Nadeeshan and Dananjaya were so helpful with any request. The rooms were always appointed nicely, tea always available and the views were enchanting with the end of day parade of birds and the special peacocks. The restaurant is very nice sitting above the landscape with a great view of Sigiriya. And the food is excellent. And the grounds are so nice. I have stayed here 2 times and I will return and make this again one of my stops. Thanks to the staff for a great time at the hotel.

We stayed here for two nights, and were sad that we couldn't stay longer. The location is amazing set amongst the jungle with an abundance of wildlife. A truly majestic and serene location with views of sigiriya. We had an above water villa which was of 5 star standard. The room was clean, comfortable, modern and luxurious, plus the jacuzzi came in handy after a day of exploring sigiriya (15 min away) and other surrounding wonders (Minneriya elephant safari- 30min away). What stood out the most were the staff who were absolutely wonderful and made our stay so memorable. My father was in a wheelchair and the staff accommodated for his every needed including carrying him up the stairs to the restaurant. The food was delicious and the presentation was exceptional. The meals were authentic in taste and we couldn't fault a single dish. The staff went above and beyond to cater to us including packing food for the kids to take on our day trips. The head chef Wasula spoke with us and was happy to cater to our every need (including two fussy eating kids age 5 and 7). Thank you for your hospitality seerock hotel. We will definitely make a visit again all the way from Australia.

This lovely hotel was set within a jungle backdrop with chance sightings of elephants, iguanas, turtles and other wildlife. My family and I stayed here overnight and my 4-year old instantly fell in love with the 4-poster “princess bed” set within the chalet. In addition, the easel with pastels and paper were also a big hit. As you approach the hotel entrance, you are greeted by a mixture of tranquil music along with the natural sounds of the wildlife. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the one we stayed in had a nice plunge pool adjoining it. The food was excellent and presentation was something staff clearly take pride in. The WiFi was a bit slow and power cuts and fuel shortages were a problem when we visited but the hotel used generators to ensure that we were not affected by this. The pool was a big hit with my daughter who taking all things into account would have loved to have spent her remaining days in Sri Lanka residing at this hotel. Sadly, we had only booked in overnight. Would recommend to others based on the food, surroundings and the helpful and pleasant staff.

We stayed at Seerock the King’s Domain on our honeymoon and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and attentive staff. The area was quiet as things are just opening up again to foreign tourists, and staff took lots of precautions due to COVID. The manager Bimal was excellent and answered all our questions. He also helped us make a last minute change in our reservation and coordinated a safari trip to see elephants at Kaudulla national park as well as a trip to Sigiriya rock fortress.
The room was clean, comfortable and spacious and had a great jacuzzi tub and shower. We enjoyed the delicious Sri Lankan meals as well as more western style food that was available. Everything tasted fresh and was beautifully presented. Overall we would highly recommend!
