The Palmon Bay provided a mixture of experiences, with the highs being high and the lows being just ok. Each staff member we encountered were polite, professional and warmly welcoming with a good sense of humour. Even amongst Covid19, we were greeted with a smile. The continental breakfast was great, with a mixture of coffees, orange juice, pastries and omelettes cooked to order! The shining star of the Palmon Bay is their exquisite spa experience. Reasonably priced, with a discount for hotel guests, you will find yourself overwhelmed with the serenity their 2 hot spas and 1 cold pool options provide and will find yourself peacefully unwinding in a choice of 3 steam rooms. The hot and cold bar provides you with a list of smoothies and tea choices for you to sip on while you enjoy the pool or their relaxation room equipped with lay down plush lounge couches. My husband and I visited at the tail end of the tourism season on our honeymoon. Montenegro at the time had been experiencing unprecedented weather and was also battling Covid19 which was causing Palmon Bay to shut down for the season, the week after our stay. I acknowledge that the above may have been key factors in our "low point" experiences. The lounge chairs in all areas were tightly packed away in corners leaving no place to sit by the outdoor pool. The staff themselves were sitting down making us feel like we were intruding in a space were were not to be, through we had full access. The restaurant served great food but only one of the bars was open and their flagship restaurant with the glamorous view of the bay that was advertised throughout the hotel, was not open on the 5th floor and all their furniture was once again packed tightly away. The room we booked had a beautiful balcony that overlooked the bay however the room itself was incredibly small contradicting the photos we saw online while booking. Overall I understand that these issues are minor in comparison to the privilege we had to travel to a place as beautiful as the Palmon Bay during such unique times as Covid19 and it is truly saddening to see them close for the season. It was simply a little surprising because we did not feel we experienced all that Palmon Bay had to offer. It felt like they were in a state of transition and we were receiving the "leftovers" of a season. However, I do not believe this should deter you from trying the Palmon Bay. If not for the beautiful scenery and spa, but for the opportunity it provides you to get away with a loved one and relax.

Just arrived back from a week in this lovely hotel. Our room was gorgeous with a sea front view, everything had been thought of and it was so comfortable and clean. The staff, without exception, were all so friendly and helpful, from the lovely chap who picked us up from the airport to the great bar staff in the amazing roof top bar/ restaurant. We had a brilliant day out on their own boat and once again the crew went above and beyond. The breakfast was delicious and so many choices. The dinner on the rooftop was really good. We are regular visitors to Herceg-Novi and have visited their beach club on many occasions but this time it was an absolute treat to stay there and we cannot wait to go back. Thank you for looking after us so well and we highly recommend!

..for a few years we haven't visited Montenegro for a holiday...due to the Covid-19 situation we chose this hotel for Our summer holiday. Where to start..Hotel is great with great facilities and great staff that is always helpful and very good for all that you need. Hotel was not so crowded so we had q lot of space for ourselves. Food is great and even if you want something that is not in offer for breakfast or dinner they will help you to get.. SpA center is great and staff is great but gym could be little more improved but you got everything that you need to stay in shape during your holiday. I do not know is it just because of the Covid-19 situation where hotels are fighting for every guest but this was one very good vacation... Hotel is geographically at good location so it is suitable for visits.

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for 1 night back in March, as part of a very large tour group. We arrived late in the afternoon and left earlyish in the morning, so we did not get to use any of the facilities. We were allocated room 204. This did not look like the pictures of the rooms on the website and was quite monastic, but I suspect that we were allocated the worst rooms as the tour company would pay the lowest price possible. Pros: comfortable bed, 1 vegan option and some veggie options at dinner, a sort of view from our window! Cons: the toilet was very squashed, particularly for larger people (my photo shows how close it is to the shower screen and the sink unit), no kettle, noise from dog yapping and doors opening, odd positioning of the plug sockets, a bizarre list of rules and regulations which was quite off putting
