I stayed here specifically for the above purpose. Dark, a relic of yesterdecade, a shadow of former self, decrepit and spooky this is a must stay location for the experience. I got half board with the dinner being pretty ok and the breakfast near terrible. I could just see Communist members relaxing here in the 80s. Olive green sink and... More

Igalo Spa consists of two buldings: one which is built some 50 years ago and is almost ruined and the newer one which is actually the place where they accomodate foreign guests. The quality of the health facilities is out of question, as this is the best rehabilitation spa in the northern Mediterranean. When it comes to bedrooms, they are... More

The main reason for staying at this hotel is to participate in one of the physical rehabilitation programmes, which are known internationally. The spa is built in high-rise style. It commands an impressive view over the entrance to the Bay of Kotor and is surrounded by a tropical garden. The restaurant offers a wide choice of hot and cold meals,... More

If you would like to get a taste of socialist architecture in both interior and exterior, this is the place for you. My room hasn't been renovated since the 1980s, I suppose. This goes for beds, curtains, closets, bathroom, etc. I didn't have time to check out the swimming pool and the gym, so I can't say anything about the... More

I was last June in Igalo, and it was amazing. It isn't a luxury hotel but it has everything what one medical center needs. Institute offers full medical treatments and therapies. The climate is so good and I love to stay there whole month. Staff is so kind with guests, the food i ok and rooms are very clear! I recommend... More

Igalo Spa has architectural features that are reminiscent of the monumental structures in the USSR, resembling a cruise ship from exterior perspectives and having spacious sun terraces, reception and dining halls, rooms and hallways. Tours guides at the adjacent Spa-managed attraction show that Tito duplicated favorite hydro therapies in separate treatment rooms when building his villa. Spa guests in September... More

During winter months, when II phase of the Institute Igalo was closed, investments within a present financial possibilities, were taken, and service is raised on a higher level. Among them most important are: - WiFi is provided in all rooms (this seems to be the most important and appreciated by guests), and it is free of charge, - some of... More

Don't stay here - that's my best advice. The hotel is in dire need of upkeep. We've been unlucky with the weather with endless rain, and then it's just at wet inside. The celing is leaking, and there is water running down the walls. Everything is damp. It smells mouldy and like a sewer, and the airquality inside is horrible.... More

Me and my husband have just returned from Igalo, where we spent the third September holiday in a raw in this place. Must admit that it is not A class hotel, accommodation is maybe even B-, but it definitely offers very effective treatments worth of our long travel. It helps us pass our rough and tough long winter easier. Though,... More
