My family and I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean and cozy, and the food in the restaurant offered something for everyone. We really liked the animators, Matija and Isidora. The staff was attentive and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. We’re already looking forward to coming back for another family vacation.

Family hotel which looks nice at the first view but it's too loud even for young people and there is almost no service. The food is very bad and cold. They would charge it for €7, which says a lot about the quality. You cannot order drinks in the restaurant, you cannot say the service is bad, there is just no service except taking empty dishes from the tables. When you would like to have anything which comes not from the automat e.g. beer, wine, you need to leave the restaurant and cross the street to get it, even with all inclusive. At the pool bar you have to pay, even with all inclusive. You only have a small all-inclusive bar with no atmosphere and only plastic cups. Even the beach does not belong to the hotel, you need to be following: you almost never get a place at the beach as everything is always occupied (with towels and without guests). I dont care to pay but you don't get a place there. What brings you a special offer of 8€ (all the others costs 15€, when you find a free place), when you never find a place. You can book the hotel, the location is nice with the mountains and directly by the sea but you need to be tolerant towards loud bass music, prefer to swim in a small pool and only book breakfast. The fruits are very tasty.

Stayed 2 weeks, Room modernised with safe (free) &old fridge no ice box,but pillows foam, washed and therefore all lumpy. Asked for 2 additional and they were the same. Duvet cover does not fit duvet its too small. Cleaners empty bins, change towels, add loo rolls daily, but need to ask for bedding be changed. Following a thunderstorm and heavy rain of which leaked through their rotten timbers of the over hang outdoor roof, it was not good on out door balcony.Had to borrow floor sweeper and clean off ourselves as cleaners don't seem to do floors. No bathroom clean either. Food in restaurant was cooked good, varied and plentiful so praise the the chief and kitchen cooks. Table cloths old and stained on many tables. No waiter for drinks if half board, have to ask one of staff, if you can get one. 2 pool areas. One courtyard- cleaned with pool cleaner once at 5.30 am the whole time we were there. Not clean with leaves, broken tiles in. Staff shout/argue at each other early morning 6 am in courtyard so echos all into rooms around.(no holiday lie in here) One pool all modernised and lovely but shared with another hotel. Bar staff lazy, on phones and ignore potential customers. Music there in evenings till 12pm (so no room doors left open if you need peace/sleep) Stairways after rain not cleared just slip sign put up. 15 mins from old Budva town.20 mins from Becci beach, so location ok, though with nightclubs gearing up nearby on front, will be noisy in evenings in season. Budva beach mostlly pebbles & sky rise hotels going up everywhere. Hotel needs a lot of cleaning and painting and maintaining all around. Went with Tui and reception lady, on own most of days so not overly happy lady tries not to help if she can avoid. As you can prob tell.. not in our opinion, recommended for a week/fortnight holiday stay. Look for other areas in Montenegro.

Stayed at the Hotel Aleksandar beginning of July All Inclusive. Room I would say had been modernised recently and was not too bad, but it was small. It did come with a large balcony that over looked the smaller of the two pools. The room on arrival was fairly clean but that’s where it ended! The bins were emptied daily (not Sunday), towels were changed when left on the floor (fair enough), bedding not changed in the 10 days we were there. Air con in room was good as was the shower and the Wi Fi in our room was very good and worked well. We could also pick up the Reception Wi fi in our room
As previously said in reviews, external parts of the Hotel building are fairly run down and in need of a little more than a coat of paint.
All Inclusive: first off, the food consists of three meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and snacks of cakes between 4 and 5pm. No alcoholic drinks available in the restaurant - you have to fetch them yourself, either from paid bar opposite Reception or the All Inclusive bar opposite the restaurant. Two young lads in the bar excellent, one young lady that stood in occasionally was very rude and not interested in serving, as it obviously interrupted spending time on her phone. Food in the restaurant was good and enough choice to get a decent meal on each visit, in our opinion. One thing to note, if you arrive in the restaurant at 8.45pm make sure you have finished eating by close at 9pm, as all food is taken away and you are asked to vacate the restaurant.
The large pool had plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas when we visited and never a problem getting one. All Inclusive drinks are not available from the pool bar but you can go out to the AI bar, which isn’t too far from the pool. The smaller courtyard pool beds did on some days get reserved early. It is worth noting that the Hotel do not provide towels for the pools.
I would say the hotel is well positioned, close to the beach and in between the old town and Becici, both within walking distance. Two sun-loungers and a brolly on the beach are 20 euros for front 2 rows and 15 euros for the rest, some were 15 euros for all areas further down the resort. There are I think 2 maybe 3 disco bars very near the hotel and the music could be heard in the room, although this didn’t bother us. Music finished around 1am.
We personally will not be rushing back to this resort and certainly not this Hotel, looked better options in Becici and also better beaches.

The hotel is clean. Service is normal, nothing special but if you ask, they will answer and be polite. As we arrived at first night we were given the wrong room because the hotel was full and they did’nt have room with balkony for us, as we had paid for. Next day we asked for it and were moved to new room. If writing this review at this point, I would rate the hotel higher but… two days of good vacation and then we got problem again. As they moved us to half of family room, that has direct door to other room and to the other room moved in family with little kids- our possilbilty to sleep at nights was over. The door between two rooms is not keeping any noise and we could here every word but also the little one crying at nights. So I was like young mom again and could stay awake the rest of nights until leaving. Positive about it- I started missing my home with no baby crying in the evening and nights. Negative, that vacation was for me important and I was very sad about not to get to sleep. Baby crying and screaming is something, that I did’nt want to hear at nights in my room. So in the future I will see, that rhe room is separated and not half of family room with narrow door that keeps no noise at all. I personally think, the hotel was overbooked. Otherwise everything good, nice view and clean rooms. Just be ready to fight for your rights if needed.

I took my mum here for a few days and looked at the reviews on TA so was very surprised at the reality of the place!
Firstly the Good bits, location was good and room were clean enough, air con is ok as we both had small rooms
Bad bits, Very run down indeed, needs a big refurbishment for sure!
No shower gel in the bathrooms which I have never seen before!
All inclusive with an empty mini bar(not even water)
No tea or coffee/kettle in the rooms ?
All inclusive is just at the bar and not the pool bar which means you have a long walk to get a small glass of what you want!
Food is very average at best in fact we ate first day lunch then ate out for the rest!
Wi-Fi is poor !
Hotel is used as a cut through!
Staff are few and far between when you need something and don’t want to be here!
Take my advice and either go room only or go somewhere else !
Budva is lovely by the way!

By far, the worst hotel experience I’ve had.
The hotel staff was impatient and impolite.
The reception manager was loud and rude (threatening people not give them their rooms).
The air condition in two of the rooms we got didn’t work and we had to argue in order to replace the room (twice!!!).
The room were not clean daily, the towels were dirty and were not replaced, we had to ask for soap refill each day.

Never going back to this hotel.

First of all i was very dissapointed with the staff of recepsion. They didnt were polite, and let us stay with a baby till 12 to open check in, if they could do even 10 min earler.
Second i have to say them 3 times to fix the frige after 2 days finally they changed it.
The food was terrible, the same every day...
And the last was about the payment. I did a full board via website but when i went there they said i have half board.
They never explain why but its ok i will never come back there.
