The hotel is at very nice location close to centre and with everything u need around.Rooms in the hotel are very small and tiny but clean. The breakfast and the waiters in the restaurant were my biggest disappointment. The breakfast was very limited. No vegetables,no omlet, the bread was not fresh the juice was some "lemonade" nothing else. The girl on the reception was nice but the waiter was hardly speaking, no greeting,no smile if u ask a question he answer so hard. The hotel is nice but need to work a lot on their welcoming and conditions.
I spent three days at this hotel and it was amazing. The atmosphere here gave us the feeling home. The rooms was clean. The staff were wery friendly and they served us with pleasure. The food was very, very good. Everything was over our expectactations. The atmosphere was particulary pleasant. When I entered there I didn't want to leave. Congrats to employees for professionalism, you deserve our appreciations!
I have been to the restaurant of Hotel Grbalj several times while waiting for the bus, as the bus station is very near. The restaurant serves mainly traditional food. You can get the daily meal; soup, main dish, salad and bread for 5 euros. They serve both inside and on the terrace and the waiters are very helpful. Highly recommended in expensive Budva.
We stayed here over a weekend in the low season. The hard working people here have created a nice atmosphere at an economical price. The kitchen is a highlight- consistently great food including local specialties. If you are looking for well located hotel (4 minutes walk from the bus station) at a good price, choose Hotel Grbalj.
Nice staff, clean rooms, a good view of the city and the near mountain if you take the room with view. It had a minibar, dry hair. It had a restaurant also, and clean every corner of the hotel. Wifi in the room not so good, but when you are in Budva and in the center of the city, who cares about wifi.
Warm and wonderful welcome by the receptionist gave the impression that we are at home. The staff of the restaurant is very friendly and hospitable . We had bed and breakfast and the breakfast was wonderful , something for everyone. It is located on excellent location, bus station is 20m from the hotel , and perhaps less , also the center of the old town are very close. We highly recommend this hotel.
Rooms were great, clean, food was excellent and plentiful, the stuff was very friendly and attentive. The owner was very forthcoming and helpful by showing us where we can go and what sites to see in Budva. I would recommend this hotel to everyone who enjoys great food and very friendly atmosphere. We are thrilled. :)
Budva is a beautiful city and this hotel is well located to take advantage of it. It is meters from the Budva Bus Station and an easy walk to beaches, to the old town and to many restaurants. It is quiet at night and it has a nice breakfast buffet which opens at 7:00 and has a non-smoking section (unusual for the Balkans). The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was always clean.
Stayed for 3 nights at September 2013 in a double room - the most tiniest room and bathroom in the world. The problem with the rooms is that the doubles are small, with no balcony and very small bathrooms; on the opposite - the triples are enormous, with balcony and great view to the sea. The hotel is situated in a superb place in Budva, near the autobus station and is 500 m for the sea. The food in the restaurant is cheap and nothing special. I recommend this hotel only for a very short stay and, definitely, not for vacancies.
If you are looking for small and not very expensive hotel downtown Budva, this is the right choice. It's only 300 meters walking from the old town, the marine and a lot of fish restaurants. Very clean. confortable rooms (at least these with view on the main street) and friendly staff. The food is also tasty and the prices in the restaurant are among the lowest in Budva. Otherwise it's a little big noisy because of the trafic on the street. Good for starting point to visit the old city, which by the way is very disapointing compared with Kotor or Dubrovnik.
