I book this hotel for a week at the beginning of August and It was a good choice, however there were a few areas that could be improved. First of all, the location is great. Central and close to all the attractions. Easy to move around from it. Secondly, the rooms are huge and clean. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is lovely. My room related negative would be that it did not have tea and coffee making facilities in the room. All other 4 stars hotels I have stayed in had a kettle and mugs. I was disappointed with this. Breakfast was good, but very limited. There was only one type of milk - cows milk. No alternative. There were 3 types of eggs and a few other cold cuts and vegetables. I loved the aubergine salad on offer almost daily. Again, bread variety was very limited. There was no brown bread or gluten free options. I would have expected more variety overall from a 4 stars hotel. The spa was lovely. The pool was big and clean and almost always empty while I was there. Only one sauna and the steam room worked, but not a big problem for me. I am not sure if the jacuzzi was in use or not at that time. The reception staff was lovely and polite and the cleaning staff did a great job every day. And lastly, the internet worked, while it was switched on, but at 10pm every night it got turned off in the hotel.

Less than 5 weeks after my previous stay I decided to return to Hotel Victoria, this time booking 5 nights stay. I booked the same type of room (executive apartment) like last time and this booking gave me room 201 at the second floor of the hotel. As always, the accommodation at Victoria is an excellent value for money option. The 30m² apartment has a very large living room maybe with a little bit old fashioned deco but lots of space if you want to relax or work and a very spacious bedroom, with an incredible comfortable bed and lots of storage space. The bathroom was spacious as well and very modern with a huge jacuzzi bath and normal amenities for 4-star hotel. The level of cleanliness of the room and entire hotel is extremely high, especially during the Covid19 restrictions and the housekeeping team deserves a genuine recognition for their hard work. Another strong point of Hotel Victoria, or maybe the most important one, is the incredible level of customer service: from front desk team to the management, everybody is genuine, helpful, intuitive, and pro-active transforming a short or a long stay in a “home away from home” experience. Nothing is too much and the way how every request is answered is a solid proof that the customer is the hard of the entire philosophy of this establishment. On my previous stays and reviews I always found the breakfast experience to be the weakest link at Victoria Hotel. Despite of an excellent service provided in the restaurant the actual product was far behind the expectations of the4 stars hotel. Last time, facing a mediocre breakfast I made some suggestion to the management regarding a possible solution for a decent breakfast during the Covid19 restrictions. I was extremely surprised, in the most pleasant way, when I saw during my recent stay, that not only my suggestions were taking in consideration but, the team went above my expectations. Respecting the new rules and regulation every morning offers 5 flexible options: French, Romanian, English, Fresh and Continental with quality products which compliment perfectly the friendly and professional service of the restaurant’s staff. Hotel Victoria will always be my choice of stay in Pitesti, as a place where a genuine and professional team and a great value for money match perfectly a decent, comfortable accommodation for business or pleasure.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Big apartment, clean sheets, clean room. Nice personnel. Plenty options for breakfast but I have seen better in 4* hotels. Prices for room booking are a bit to high.

The hotel is big. Rooms are big and clean. Towels get changed everyday (even if I leave them on the hanger). Bed is good, sleep quality good. There is a spa, but it is in another building with no direct acces from inside the hotel, so you have to go outside first. The spa is used even by people from outside the hotel. Breakfast is quite standard, not too many choices , I expected more from a 4 stars hotel. On Saturday night there was a wedding at the hotel restaurant. So there was noise all night long!!! Not something we expected! We were quite tired :( The parking lot was almost full during our stay here: hotel clients, spa clients.

I’ve came back from England to visit my brother. So I decided to stay here as I knew the hotel to be nice and old style (which I like). The room I had was an apartment. Wasn’t cheap. The sleep was good. No noise (which I prefer like this). I didn’t like that I had to pay for the all stay at the check in. Not like in other hotels where you have a preauthorised charge and then at the end you can settle on that basis of what you consumed. The internet wasn’t working at all. I tried everything. I asked at the reception and they said their antennas not working. I needed to do something for my work (emails and other stuff for my airline and so on). Didn’t work. I asked at the reception if there is a Business centre. They didn’t know what was it. I asked if they have a computer with internet. They said there isn’t anything. I didn’t reply back about the 4 star hotel with no business centre. What I like was the room. Only the room. I am sorry.

The hotel is situated near the city center. It offers free parking in its yard. The rooms are spacious, the furniture is a bit old, but it ok for their purpose. The hotel offers a spa in a separate building. It is a good choice is visit Pitesti.

The hotel would be a nice one, in a perfect balanced day, if all the stars are in perfect line. Unfortunatelly, we went there with the children on a crowded weekend. Scandals on the lobby of the floor, drunken persons, songs in the interior yard at 2 am. All the conditions for spending 2 white nights. Like in the lowest taverna ever. We didn't hear a simple excuse, the personel was not able to handle the situation. Advice: ask first or just don't go! P.S. The breakfast was a poor one, presented poorly also.

The room was at a bad place, air conditioning was not working properly, when I arrived to check in they said room is ready, but when I arrived to the room, the cleaning lady was still inside. I arrived after a hard day's work, and found out that the restaurant is not serving hotel guests, this was a big problem, I called in advance and made reservations and they said it's open. I won't reccomend this hotel, only if your stay is quite short.

Highly recommend place to stay friendly and helpful staff, very good food, pool, spa and cheaper massage service, free parking, near the town centre 5 minutes walking from the hotel. Big rooms nicely decorated and cleaned. Definitely I will come back.

Originally we planned to stay for 4 nights, we landed at night following over 24hrs of exhausting international travelling. We arrived at the hotel in the early hrs of the morning between 4-5am and went right to sleep. To our horror, at 8am we were woken up and terrified by the cleaning personell who decided to vacccum the hallways! Literrally right outside our door. We then made attempts to return to sleep and was interrupted AGAIN by a staff who entered our room, ignoring the DO NOT DISTURB sign. So after all, we slept beyond what we originally planned and subsequently missed the breakfast AND we checked out abit later than 12 at around 1:35pm due to the our attempts at trying to sleep again. We were disgusted because despite our complaints about the noise at checkout, the hotel still charged us 30 euro extra, insisting that we did not checkout at the proper time. Besides that, the room smelled stuffy and the bathroom facilities i.e. Shower holder, toilet roller was tottally broken and fell fown. I also have to mention that the staff at the reception displayed a very poor and disgusting arrogant attitude towards me. We will never come back here again. It was the most expensive torture I’ve ever paid for. If you want a calm happy stay don’t go to Victoria Hotel.
