To be fair, I would rate this hotel between 3 and 4, but there was no option for that. The hotel is wonderfully situated, in the center of the city, walking distance to almost all the important attractions of Iasi. Being an old hotel, you can see this very obviously in the furniture and decorations. This is not very bad,...

I'm not writing a good review because it is something from my country, but because it really diserves. Excellent location, very nice view from rooms, clean and quite spacious. Good breackfast, free safe parking, free swimming pool entrance. Good choice for the payed price.

The hotel is excellent located, walking distance to main Iasi attractions (Palace of Culture, city center, shopping and restaurants areas). The rooms are decent in size, quite well furnished, good quality beds, minibar, TV, air conditioning, WiFi internet (free of charge). Also bathrooms are well equipped, only the shower cabin being rather small in size. The views from upper levels...

We didnt stayed there in the hotel. My review is about the hotel restaurant. The interior is pompeus sovietic. Same furniture and dishes. The chairs, tables, etc. The good thing I will mention is the staff, it was polite. We ordered 3 daily menus 3 eur each. It includes 1 soup, 1 dish with meat and potatoes mash and 1...

Great location, near The Palace of Culture and a lot of turistic objectives. Big room, clean, new furniture. The breakfast was also very good, with a lot to choose from. It also has free parking for the guests. Even though the outside of the hotel seems a little outdated, the rooms and the interior are nicely renovated.

CONCLUSION: a little outdated outlook, but fair in all other aspects. Best budget overnight in town if you wanna go out for drinks and fun The rooms are clean. Bed is confy. AC working properly. Bathroom small, outdated, but ok (you don't actually sleep there, so..). 20 something tv channels. The gym and the pool are WorldClass, so they are...

I first visited the Moldova in 2008 when its 3 star category really showed. I have visted four times since and in 2016 there is clear evidence of a refurb.Rooms are clean, varied in style and very good value.Even the breakfasts have improved but very little fruit. GOOD LOCATION, FRIENDLY STAFF.

The hotel has some limitations (built I think in the late 70s or early 80s): - Room/bathroom are European (as in small), windows are new and do a great soundproofing job. - Door is locked with an old-style key, to leave at reception when leaving - some planning might be required when two people with different schedules are sharing the...

It is an average 3 stars hotel. Everything shows that time has frozen... as 35 years ago... needs a lot of improvement in all areas, starting from reception up to rooms and restaurant. And I mean not only in furniture but also in staff attitude... they look bored and dusty. Even so, rooms are really clean. Decent breakfast, without too...

This hotel sits at the heart of the most interesting part of Iasi for a visitor. It's really close to the Palace of Culture (which is awesome) and many other amenities and places of interest. Location spot on, very good value, service fine, room clean and comfortable (albeit that decor and furnishings were dated and tired) and a hearty buffet...
