Very nice, clean. Stuff is very friendly. But if you stay, ensure that you do not have a room located towards the main street. Trams are very loud and drive by every 2 min. I had to change the room, but the rest of the stay was nice. Restaurant is good as well

Located right in the heart of Iasi, at Piata Unirii, this hotel is a good value for money. We had a nice comfortable room, with view to the back of the hotel. There is quite some noise from the tram, but closing the double glazed window makes it totally disappear. The rooms are clean and small issues we had at... More

Breakfast was very limited, dinner room service didn't have many things on the menu, room was large but furniture was tiny, no space for laptop on the very small desk shared with a medium sized TV so had to keep moving TV to another table, then just a stool not suitable for sitting and working for any length of time... Great looking classic exterior. Unfortunately, the interior look like is about the same age as this hotel built by architect Eiffel (yes - the one of Eiffel tower fame). Old and tired. Uncomfortable beds, Curtains do not close well enough to keep the light out. At 4:30 in the morning the building shakes as the streetcars (trams) start running on... More

Attractive on the outside, this cavernous hotel seems to be surviving on the basis that it was designed and built by Gustave Eiffel. Sadly the interior seems to have been remodelled under the auspices of former Romanian dictator Nicolae Ceausescu. The rooms are large, dingy, poorly fitted and tattily furnished. Very uncomfortable beds with lumpy mattresses. And guests are only... More

The Traian Grand Hotel, designed by Gustave Eiffel's company in the 1880s, is without a doubt the 'grande dame' of Iasi hotels and I very much enjoyed my two night stay there, for which I paid around 75 GBP - which I thought was reasonable, given the overall standard and location of the hotel. Breakfast was not included in the... More

The hotel is very antique in design and dont have any pool or fitness center, however the location is nice being near everything. The surroundings are nice have a enourmous castle down the street with a lot of restaurants and a mall.
