I have been in Batad and all the guest houses and homestays have the same prices: 250 php x person/night. Simon's offers exactly what we were looking for, peace, good views, clean and cozy place and kindness of the owner. They have the cheapest prices of meals of all Batad!!!! By the way, to make reservations here yiu have 2... More

We've stayed here for one night recently. The accommodation are super basic, but clean. The view, as every place in Batad, is great. The food is Ok. Upside - hot water (extra 50 PHP). Downside - really cold rooms and Simon's hospitality is not the best after you agree on staying there. We payed 250 pesos per person with hot... More

2014: we only stayed there lunch & afternoon chillout. Mang Simon's fried chicken is so delicious, ordered whole chicken and a plate of rice. He is very accommodating and he even shared stories about Batad and good places to hike. Feb2016: I'm back with my friend. Our room has a nice view, basic and requested for a blanket. Restroom &... I have stayed here on 3 trips to Batad over the last 5 years. All accommodation in Batad is basic with no fan, private bathroom, wardrobes etc. I paid 250 pesos for my room. Note, it can get very hot in the night time in the room without the window open so bring insect spray. The toilets and showers are... More

Aside from the native huts, and despite the wooden floors, the unfinished concrete blocking the amazing view from its restaurant is an absolute eyesore. Given the amount of money they can use to finish up the place, aesthetical value would go along way. The biggest inn towering over the terrace, unfinished with metal wiring jotting out. Decent food. Management mentality... More

The rooms are clear and super simple. We stayed there for 2nights. You have to pay for hot shower and charge your phone/camera etc. It looks like some construction work was stopped some time ago and the amphitheater view is slightly "damaged" by concrete pillars when looking from the room's window. The view is still nice though. The food is... More

Spent 3 days, 2 nights in Batad. Didn't stay here but ate here more than in other restaurants. All restaurants there basically serve the same food; they just vary in price and quanity. Simon's offers the best value for money for the same kind of food found in other restaurants (Rita's and Hillside Inn, among others). I recommend Simon's rice.... More

Simple room. Clean, great view. 200pp. Shared shower/toilet - hot water. Food is great and they serve a solid pizza! Portion sizes are very good. Spacious lodge and quite airy - the rooms although small, are light. Great staff.

The inn is not a luxury place but you are in the middle of now where and shouldnt expect anything fancy. It has toilets (bring your on toiletpaper) which are clean, facilities to wash and sit down. The food is good home made filipino cuisine and the local rice is to die for. We had lunch and enjoyed the view.... More
