We stopped here for just one night as part of a tour, could have stayed an extra night or two to look around the grounds. As others have said the rooms are basic, but they are clean and the in room wifi was quick. The pool outside our room was empty but the one near the bar looked great. Bar... More

Dear Guest, thank you for your comments. I'm happy to learn you enjoyed your stay with us. The rooms are basic as any other old Hacienda in the Peruvian coast, and with no TV in them, however, there is one TV in one of the drawing rooms. The pool you mention, actually it is a reservoir for the acqueduct that... More

We were treated so well by the staff. The room was very clean and comfortable. This was part of a Nazca Lines Tour and quite a surprise both in quality and comfort. An added benefit, in the morning, we were treated to the gardening staff: a herd of Llamas and Alpacas right in front of our room.

My stay here recently was in a word, amazing. Never could I have imagined what was behind the gates as I drove from the bus station. The road leading to the hotel was typical for much of Peru, dusty and dirty. I was thinking "what I have I got myself into"? Maybe I should have looked around for another place.... More

Dear Guest, thank you for all your comments. I'm so happy to learn that you agree with our philosophy, of just offering our guest peace and calmness after having such a long trip. Yes, no TV's in the basic rooms, but instead, we offer nature, art, a planetarium and a pisco cellar. Thank you for staying at Majoro. More

Although this Hotel looks very Grand and promising at first sight we felt that it lacked a lot of loving care. I know that it is an original old Hacienda but it does need some money spending on it. The room was very basic with no TV and a fridge that did not work, curtains that were 'ill fitting' and... More

Dear guest, thank you fpr your comments. We publish that we offer NO TV's in the rooms, it goes against our philosophy. If you have travelled all this way, instead, we offer you culture, the planetarium and our pisco cellar. You should have adviced reception that the fridge was not working correctly. All the locks have a push button inside... More

Nasca continues to attract tourists in search of the famous and mysterious Nasca lines. However, other than a few ruins, the Antonini Museum and a 35min rocky flight over the Nasca lines there is not much to see or do here. A monastery in the 18th century, turned hacienda in the 20th and hotel in the 80’s, this hotel is... More

Dear Guest, thank you for your comments. I'm sorry to learn you missed all the other attractions that Nasca offers. There is the San Fernando Reserve at the coast, 70 kms away from Nasca, where you may see all kinds of birds including condors and penguins, plus sea lions, etc., there is also the Pampa Galera's Reserve, the largest reserve... We arrived at hotel majoro down a dusty and slightly dodgy looking track... once through the gates of the hotel there is a "country house / hacienda" feel to the place. The swimming pool was fine and usable but the area around the pool could do with a tidy - just leaves etc. The rooms were on the ground floor... More

Dear guest, thank you for your comments. As you know, we are in the dessert, and many days there is a lot of wind, and having a very large garden with flowers and trees, it is most probable that you will find leaves or bouganvilla flowers scattered in some areas. The decor belongs to an old classic Peruvian Hacienda, and... More

I spent Easter at the Majoro Hotel and despite the high temperatures, I enjoyed my stay. The hotel is located outside the city of Nasca. It's a farm as well. Is has a beautiful garden and a nice pool with a bar. The rooms are comfy but don't expect a tv or airco. But we didn't miss these in such a nice place.

I chose the hotel Majoro for themselves and their friends, because I wanted to live in style and we liked the idea of the old colonial hacienda. Our vision is perfectly realized. Hotel Majoro is located on the peaceful outskirts of Nazca, about a ten minute drive from the airport offering flights over the Nazca lines.
