At the risk of making it more difficult to get a booking for myself, I'll offer my highest recommendation for the Lazy Dog Inn. Guests at the Lazy Dog are treated like family with warmth and care. However, that warm, family-feel does not rule out genuine service and attention

This was such a delightful trip. It could have gone very differently since I arrived with extreme and unexpected altitude sickness. I was traveling alone with two children, and Diana sent her most trusted driver to bring my kids to the lodge to meet friends, while I went to

Many Thanks Jason for taking the time to share an incredibly thorough review pinpointing key aspects of your stay that were of importance to you. For us what rings loudly was the time taken to see and experience what we all (staff and neighbors) try to fulfill in order to present a wholesome, sustainable and comfortable place to be. We were pleased to share this with you both, offer a few days of "whew " time in the midst of a long trip. The best to you in the travels before you. Regards Diana, Wayne and all the staff

We were so sorry to leave the Lazy Dog Inn, which came to feel like home away from home after only 4 days. We enjoyed many hiking options straight from the front door, followed by a cozy sauna and delicious food. What a beautiful place to enjoy the spirit of the Andes without

Hola For any tours with an agency they need to be booked in Huaraz, For example Chavin, Llanganuco etc. Most tours leave around 9 am and back between 5-7 pm. Our dinner hour here at the Inn is between 7 and 730 pm. We can assist with taxi transportation to and from Huaraz and we can also arrange private taxis if you wish that service. We are 30 minutes or so from town and a taxi in daylight hours is S/ 40 and in the evening S/ 50 I hope this helps Regards Diana
