We reallly enjoyed our stay at Hospedaje Churup. Confortable beds, enough blankets for the chilly nights, clean bathrooms that got cleaned every day, hot showers, nice and comfortable common area, very kind and helpful staff and great breakfast with quinoa porridge, juice, eggs, yummy cake, bread and jam, tee, coffe, fruit... The only thing that was a bit annoying was...

Churup guesthouse has great, comfortable rooms. We had a private room with our own bathroom. The breakfast provided in the mornings is excellent, best hostel breakfast I've ever had. There is also a rooftop view of Huaraz. The staff is nice and helpful, but it really helps if you speak spanish.

This was a cozy, clean, peaceful place to stay, with a lot of relaxing common areas. I had a private room, which was basically hotel quality for the price of a hostel. The staff is lovely, you can book tours/hikes easily, and laundry service was extremely useful. I also loved the roof deck with views of the mountains. Oh, and...

We had a fantastic stay at Churup. The rooms and bathroom are lovely - so quaint. It's definitely more like a guest house than a hostel. The staff are so lovely and help arrange all tours, taxis etc. The place is so clean. Breakfast is good too. One of our favourite places we stayed on our trip.

LPT: Book a dorm in advance. If you show up and there isn't a dorm available, they upgrade you to a triple room, which is spacious, en suite bathroom, and three beds, with a nice view of the courtyard. They also provide towels which is always nice. Lots of pillows on the bed and clean bathrooms. Very quiet part of...

Spent four nights coming and going. Very nice, comfortable, clean rooms with good bathrooms and hot showers. Quiet location. Close to Eco Ice, a great trekking agency. Good breakfast. Well-furnished and comfortable common areas in which to hang out. Scenic rooftop terrace. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

The guesthouse was quiet. Breakfast was excellent. The staff helped us both find public transit to our acclimation day hikes, or to book a trusted taxi driver for some weirder ones. For a small fee they let you shower after checking out when you come back to collect your luggage, and hang around in their comfortable lounge until your bus....

Of the three places I stayed in Huaraz this was the best. It had good bedrooms with comfortable beds, hot showers and more than enough space. They offer secure luggage storage, laundry and have nice common areas on each floor. They also serve the best breakfast including nice bread and a good range of jams, fruit and guacamole. They will...

Churup Guesthouse is a pleasant inexpensive hotel in a small pleasant city at the foot of the Andes. The hotel rooms were reasonably nice-- not glorious by any means, but I rate according to price paid. The wifi worked only half the time in the room, never in the 4th floor restaurant, and always in the lobby. This lack of...
