This place is just awesome, total family vibe, perfect to relax. People here is always willing and ready to help and have the nicest tips to move around the city and the near countryside. Awesome food. Didn't feel a tourist for a single minute, definitely coming back!!

The Bed and Breakfast is outside of the city center, that is good. it is quieter there. You can reach the center in a few minutes in a collectivo, an adventure not to be missed. The owners of the B& B are very helpful in arranging treks or other tours. Breakfast was good. There are good restaurants downtown of all... More

We stayed here for just over a week, originally thinking we might do the Santa Cruz trek, but then opting just to stick with day treks. The B&B is run by Gilf and Maruja, with Gilf speaking great English which was a big advantage of course for us as our Spanish still wasn't great. Everyone who worked there was very... More

Me and my wife stayed here before and after our trekking in Cordillera Huayhuash. We went to trek with Colonia Adventures, which is owned by the same owner (Gilf and Maruja) of La Casa de Maruja. We love this B&B because it is out-of-town in a more quiet area. The room is very clean, comfortable, and great view. In one... More

This B&B (Peruvian style) is far enough out of town that it's not as loud as Huaraz the city part, however it is either a mini bus or cab ride away. You can take that as either a pro or a con, depending on your preferences. Also, because I didn't have internet, I could not coordinate a pickup from the... More

We originally booked 2 nights at casa de manuja but we enjoyed it so much we stayed for 5 nights. Gif and his wife maruja are fantastic hosts and made us feel welcome and at home immediately. The breakfasts are also fantastic, fresh juice, toast, jam, butter, eggs or pancakes with tasty coffee and plenty of it. On our last day... More

I arrived in the early morning with a night bus from Lima. Even dough I had a booking for the upcoming night, Maruja offered breakfast, a nice, clean room with a hot shower right away to rest. He further assisted me with recommendations for day tours and trekking companies. The hostel is a little bit outside of Huaraz, however access... More

The rooma have been awesome, the bathrooms are big and super clean. The owners are incredibly nice and do everything to support you and make your stay as good as possible. The breakfast was delicious and everything for that price!! If you think its too far outside, dont worry! Its 5 minutes in taxi and costs you between 30cents and... More

We loved our stay here. The beds are incredibly comfortable. It gets cold at night, but there are thick blankets to keep you warm. Very clean, good breakfast and excellent service from Gilf and his family. They knew a lot about the area, helped us book our treks and were always helpful. Someone wasn't always present at the reception so... More
