Up here in the mountains the water is freezing so you want to find a place that has reliable hot showers. We had a 6 a.m. ticket booked to Machu Picchu but could not shower in the morning because the showers were cold. Not just cold but I see cold. we waited over an hour for

Dear 37ScottS37, we regreats that you couldn´t see the sunrise in Machu Picchu because the hot water we provided in the showers of our hotel did not come out in time. They were circumstances that couldn´t be fixed in time, we apologize because our staff could not solve it in time. Reception Department

A nice little hotel with all you need to prepare for Machu Picchu. Great customer service from the Front Desk staff. I encountered an issue with my initial room that smelled “funny” and they were quick and efficient to change the room. Clean sheets and bathroom made it a great

Spacious, clean and comfortable room with a great (and very warm) shower. The breakfast buffet was excellent; with various warm options, fresh fruit, cereals and juices, and was open from 04:30AM. The staff were very friendly, and allowed us to store our bags after checkout

I had the same experience as Mariana. I think it would be fine. They tag your luggage and keep in a safe area. You might could even ask about early check-in on that day.

How far is the hotel from Machu Picchu?
Hi Lori You get there by buses that are going up all day. It's about 20.00 a person round trip. There is no other way to get up other than walking and some people do. In the bus it's about 30 min. Have a great trip

Does the machu picchu location offer airport pick up?
Hi Melanie.....John is right: train is pretty much you're only option for getting to Aguas Calientes (also known as Machu Picchu Pueblo). You'll take the train from either Poroy (closest to Cusco, Urubamba or Ollantaytambo). Once you arrive in Aguas Calientes station, and as you're leaving the main gate for the train station, take a sharp right just as you enter the market where they sell all the gifts. Follow this aisle until it ends and then take a right. Flower's House is a few short blocks down on the left.
