This hotel and its fabulous staff helped make our visit to the Macchu Picchu area a truly memorable experience. Julio met us at the train station and guided us to the hotel, not far away, explaining things about the town and tips for our upcoming adventure. Priscila at front desk was efficient, friendly, and informative every time we had questions.
Although Casa Andina was a bit pricier than most hotels on our Peru vacation, our modest room was huge, with a spacious shower, closet space, and spectacular views of the Vilcanota River. The complimentary breakfast offered several hot dishes, meats and cheeses, fruits, cereals, coffee, plus a variety of juices and teas, breads and wonderful local jams.
To end off the visit, we could wait for our train comfortably in the spacious lobby with access to teas, lemon water and a water bottle refill station.

The location is near bus terminal and train station which allows easy access to various places within the area. The room is clean and cosy, however the sound of the train approaching may be of concerns for light sleeper.

The restaurant where breakfast is served has a nice view over seeing the river which can be quite therapeutic. The 5 of us enjoyed our time at Casa Andina Standard Machu Picchu very much and we appreciate the friendly services provided by the staff.

We stayed overnight at the Casa Andina in Machu Picchu. Excellent location just 2 blocks from the bus and train stations. Very convenient for restaurants too. They have a filtered water dispenser in the lobby for those like us who could not drink tap water and were buying bottled water frequently. The dispenser water was fine to drink. Breakfast was included and was tasty. Our room overlooked the river which provided wonderful white noise all night. Elmer at the front desk was helpful in giving suggestions.

Stayed here for one night in September before I visited Machu Picchu. It’s great for a night. My room was a little on the small side and with no windows- this is about what I had expected based on my price point and other experiences at hotels in Peru. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was the best I had the entire time I was in Peru. The location is great- if you cut through the market by the train station and head down a fairly steep set of stairs you’ll basically be right in front of the hotel. And the stop where you pick up the bus to Machu Picchu is maybe a 10 min walk away. Would definitely recommend this to someone spending the night in Aguas Calientes.

The location was central to everything, and the staff couldn't have been more friendly and kind. We stayed there on either end of our trek to MP, and they were all terrific. Rooms were spotless, breakfast was delicious, and they even gave to me a birthday cake (and no, my wife never said a thing). Would stay there again if we ever get back to Peru!

Close to the rail station and bus area, made it really convenient arriving and departing from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu. Rooms were very clean, modern and comfortable. Our room had a balcony over the river, which was a bonus since the river was at high flow while we were there. Breakfast was a standard continental with typical staples and some Peruvian items. Hotel has a water bottle filling station and ATM inside which was appreciated. Also right next to some restaurants and bodegas.

Have stayed there before and would stay again. Rooms can look out over the Rapids of the river that runs along the back of the hotel but noise is well controlled. We deliberately chose this hotel for our second visit as it is right in town. Food was good, rooms very comfortable, staff really helpful. We recommend it.

We stayed in Casa Andina for our trip to Machu Picchu; the location is everything just across the train stop, by the side of the river with beautiful views during breakfast or your room, great service at the reception, food was actually pretty good. Would stay again if I could, planning to revisit soon.

!Gracias hermanos peruanos de Casa Andina por una experiencia increíble y seguir recibiendo a los turistas con calidez y servicio de primera!

Saludos desde México.

Reserved three rooms for a group of five. Great rates on hotel website. Check in was steps from getting off Inca Rail train - so wonderful - so close to the Machu Picchu bud too. Rooms were modern spotless and the best shower I’ve had in ages (great pressure) Breakfast was delicious each morning we were there for two of them. Enjoyed drinks in the restaurant bar one evening too. I highly recommend this property.

It depends on when you go. We went in late Aug/early Sept and ours did not have AC (they turn off the AC for all rooms during their winter months). We had to ask them to bring up a fan. We tried to open the window but the street noise was unbearable.

Not in the rooms. Maybe at the front desk? Really don't need it since Aguas Calientes isn't that high (only 6900ft I think).
