The hotel is average at best but has all the essentials for an overnight stay at Aguas Calientes. The hotel was somewhat clean and the bathroom was clean enough. It was fine for a short stay. However, the staff was very kind and accommodating. They held on to my luggage while I went to Machu Picchu and even provided a ice pack and allowed me to rest in the lobby while I waited for my train back to Cusco.

The room was spacious and very clean. It also had a stunning view of the valley and the river. The breakfast was very good with high quality hot and cold options. The quality was much better than in most three-star hotels I've stayed in. The staff are very helpful and friendly, especially Romualdo. Highly recommended.

The front facing room suffer terribly from the adjacent railway with trains running and stopping right outside between 5.00 am and 11.30 pm. However the staff were exceptionally helpful and understanding in finding me a quieter room as I was ill and desperately needed to get a good sleep. I ended up with a tiny internal room with no external window not typical of the other rooms but perfect for my requirement as it was blissfully quiet. Generally the rooms are very spacious and well fitted out with modern and functional fittings. Nice public areas although the reception is incredibly noisy from the bar fans and adjacent plant room. The breakfast was one of the best I had in Peru with masses of choice for all diets. Rooms at the back have nice views over the river as does the dining room. Aguas Calientes is a very constrained location so this location is probably a good compromise as long as you avoid the front facing rooms and take ear plugs.…

Jhon, Pati, Yin and Richar were awesome! Giving us a warm welcome and always helpful! From the time we arrived they paid attention to every detail. We got great recommendations on where to eat. Needed to laundry a garment and they got it back clean within an hour. The room was sparkling clean. The river view from the room’s window was amazing and the sound of the river was soothing.

My trip to Peru was full of challenges. Flights canceled due to Hurricane Ian, travel agency messed our hotel reservations, luggage lost in the airport… in the mist of all this the AMAZING hotel crew were so extremely accommodating allowing me to check out later to resolve issues with travel agency, they made calls to hotels in Cusco to help me find a place to stay there and gave my daughters the cutest stuffed Llama and a souvenir from Machu Picchu!! What a stellar customer service!! I highly recommend this place to friends and family. Great location, clean, comfortable and 5 stars customer services!!

The staff here was wonderful. I had a complicated request regarding arrangements to make for friends to access my room, upon their completion of the Inca Trail, and Romualdo (at front desk) could not have been more helpful. The room was clean, and the river view was beautiful. The breakfast was plentiful with fresh fruit and plenty of hot meal options. Very conveniently located a few-minute walk from the train and also the bus station to the citadel, with plenty of great restaurant options just a few doors away from the hotel.
