Nice hotel; excellent, friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms, comfy beds and nice breakfast spread. Plenty of hot water, too. The only drawback I would point out is that the acoustics were not great. While I didn't have any noise bother me, I was worried that we might be making too much noise for the other guests. This didn't bother... More

Someone should take the word "Hostel" out of the hotels name here on Trip Advisor. This hotel is very clean, nice and offers privacy from a city full of "dorm room" style hostels. It is indeed a hotel, built near the top of the town with spectacular day and nighttime views of the city below. In my estimation the hotel... More

Stayed here for one night after trekking the Inca Trail - nothing particularly about this hostel to make you want to go back. The room were given had no "outside" window, the only window was out on to the corridor and the curtain didn't quite fit the window. The noise from fellow guests also made a good night's sleep very... More

The front desk people are very patient kind and helpful but the design of this place lets you hear everything anybody is doing in the whole building. There is a flat screen TV but with 2 remotes to try and figure it out is impossible. Wifi is sketchy. It is not worth $50 per night, but may be priced for... More

Booked for family early but was told that there was no rooms on arrival. But arranged accomodation another closeby hotel. This is a hassle when you arrive tired and had to walk with luggage. Hotel is average in quality.

Because Aguas Calientes is the host town for Macchu Picchu, it is pricey. Expect to pay more for budget hotels as well. We were a bit concerned about noise when we arrived due to the big windows that overlook the central stairwell, but there was no problem whatsoever. Folks getting up at 345 for Macchu Picchu are really too tired... More

Long walk up from railway station. The room was very basic not attractive in anyway. However it was clean and the bed comfortable, shower good. Window overlooking corridor next to stairs, so noisy until 11pm at night and then from 4am in the morning. Worst place I stayed in on travels through Chile Bolivia and Peru . In fact worst... More

The views from the hotel are not the best. It seems that the hotel is in an area of new development and you will see a lot of unpleasant construction. Besides that, we always feel safe walking around and it is only one block from the main street. The girls at the reception were very friendly and helped us with... More

We came to Marco Wasi for the night before climbing to Machu Picchu, at first, the hotel is clean, with a good breakfast, and the staff was kind, they even allow you to lock the luggage while you return from the mountain. The 3 down points to consider are: 1. The wifi signal was terrible... We weren't able to connect... More

The staff here is great. The breakfast spread is good and will offer you a take-out bag if you're taking food with you for the day. We couldn't get the wifi to work but I'm sure it would have gotten figured out if we asked the staff. From our room we could here everything going on in the hall. Our... More
