Please note that this is not a hostel, but a hotel. I would never stay at a hostel with 2 small children in tow. On to the review: The staff here is extremely helpful and welcoming and I truly appreciate all the assistance they offered; all with a smile. They helped with a situation that had nothing to do with... More

The hotel is very old school, but the staff was extremely professional. The breakfast offering was very good and the location is on the Urubamba River and very close the the busses taking you to Machu Picchu. A special shout out to Roberto at the hotel who made our trip seamless - you are a gem!

Average hotel but great breakfast. Avo at breakfast and omelettes to order. Lots of wifi options for free. Some rooms have little balconies. Can hear the river from most rooms - very nice. Very good service. We were in and out staying just one night.

The lobby was nice; breakfast which was included was good. Hotel room for 3 was a bit small, although all of the beds were doubles. Bathroom small and few outlets. Wifi worked fine. We were only there one night, but staff very helpful. They held our backpacks and transferred them to the train station for our designated train. That was... More

I had a written confirmation of our reservation. However, when we went to check in the hotel did not have it and said we should have called to confirm(which was not on any of our paperwork). The front desk manager was very helpful in trying to help us. We did get two rooms, one of which had no window and... More

Our first day we arrived after breakfast and the second day we left before breakfast. However, I did see that it was set up and it looked pretty good. I learned later that there was someone there to make omelets and pancakes. There were two couples in our party and we used the bar quite a bit and were happy... More

Warning: we were apart of the hotel spam, when you go down for breakfast the lady ask for your room number and amount of people, which of course you give and start eating. Well at this time the front desk guy goes up to your room. We are lucky and my husband went up to the room and found him... More

We stayed one night here as part of a travel group. The lobby area looks accomodating enough but the rooms are quite spartan and somewhat cramped with poor lighting. Furthermore, during the early morning hours, the town lost power. The hotel's diesel generator kicked in around 3 AM but the second floor hallway, as well as our room, filled with... More

Before booking my reservation at this hotel, I had read many comments about this hotel, some positive and other negative. Management of the hotel tackled the issues pointed by other visitors. Overall, I liked the hotel. It is close to the bus and train stations (5-10 minutes walk), my room was clean, there were extra douvets in case I would... More
