The hostel looks really nice from the outside and the rooms are spacious and nice too. The restaurant had a large menu offering a wide variety of food; however 90% of the menu was not available. I stayed here with three friends and we all woke up with flea bites. We were no taken seriously when we complained about it....

I stayed with three friends in Ecopackers for two nights to meet Machu Picchu. The only advantage that we found was de location, because it is three blocks away from the bus to Machu and the nice rooftop with a cozy environment. During our stay they didn't clean up our bedroom, the restaurant didn't have 90% of the menu offered...

This hoatel is quite well located , and good. The main advantage is the rooftop where people can drink or eat and meet other cool travellers. People who just need a budget hostel with standard quality should find here what they want. The view is on the railway which goes through the city (its quite atypical)

Ecopackers Machupicchu is a great hostel. Can confirm with the other reviewers that it is right by the train tracks and extremely hard to sleep. The hostel was amazing - clean, comfortable beds, heater in the room, huge storage lockers, and extremely helpful and kind staff. Huge shout out to Yenivel, Americo, Arlet, Mario, and Emilia. You are all so...

Nice, reasonably priced, no frill place, close to the bus to Machu Picchu. Before you head out early in the morning to the bus, have a nice breakfast. Everybody who works here is helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend!

It is not nice as the Ecopackers in Cusco, but it serves its purpose. A nice thing: it seems to me that every dorm has its bathroom. The WiFi is working only at the top floor were the bar is (maybe at the floor below a bit). The building is narrow and tall. They let you leave a bag/backpack there...

I stayed in this hostel for two nights during visit to Machu Picchu (USD24 for two nights for a bed). The hostel is located right in front of the rail line and has a very unique atmosphere when a train passing in front of your room. I stayed in a 4-bed room and the room was actually very clean. A...

After a 10 hour trek in Machu Picchu all you want is a hot shower. Then you get to your hotel room and not only is the toilet broken, but there's no hot water. On top of this the woman working in the reception was incredibly unhelpful. When informed that the toilet was broken and our bathroom flooded her response...

Dang, not only the softest nicest beds that I have ever had in 30 plus trips to Peru but toilet seats too! I took a group of 12 to Machu Picchu after a mission trip to the jungle. My plan was to spend a couple days in Cusco then travel to Aguas Calliente and spend two nights there so many...

I stayed in the all female room for one night before going to Machu Picchu. It's in a very convenient location and the staff is very nice. Aguas Calientes is pretty expensive as everything is brought there so bring water and/or snacks from cusco or ollantaytambo. The restaurant at this hostel was good and comparative to the rest of the...
