We managed to get 18 of us into the hostal. One of the double rooms was really musty and they moved us into a different room quickly. Really cool rooftop bar where you can have a really early breakfast before heading to Machu Picchu.

Spent two nights. Accommodation was great, warm showers, bar food was decent although would not recommend ordering cocktails. great breakfast. Would definitely stay there again but choose anywhere else for drinks

Perfect to go early in the morning to Machu Picchu. The restaurant is good, but breakfast is only until 8am. The beds are comfortable enough. Bring some earplugs, cause the train passes just under the windows.

Great place to stay! Very clean, right price. We stayed here in Aguas Calientes and in Cusco. Would definitely stay again. Maria and the other staff were amazing, there to help every step of the way. Noelia, yanet in the cocina, rubi at the bar and veronica were all great! Would

The train station is pretty much next to the Hostel. The whole village is small so everything is close. I wouldnt be concerned about that

Hi, that was actually three questions ;-) We did book the hostel from cusco's hostel the night before since we were going to arrive to aguascalientes almost at midnight. I recommend to book tickets to machu pichu since there is limited access. In hot season it can be so they get sold-out, check out the official machu picchu site from peruvian site for that (first hit in google ;-) In any case there is an office in aguascalintes were you could check them out in the morning. Best of lucks Victor

"If you book ahead of time you might be able to get a room with a view of the city. Rooms below the bar have the best view."
"Ask to choose your room so you weigh noise and stuffyness."
"The street side rooms have an excellent view, but noisy in the afternoons."
"Ask for a room on the front for the better mountain views."
"Ask for a room on the second floor, away from the train tracks"
