The hotel is very clean, comfortable and stylish/hip, but don't expect a super-luxurious hotel. It's three to four-star in terms of fit-out, but the design/style makes it feel much more special. The lobby, restaurant and bar are all great places to hang out, and the location right in the middle of the town (and a 3-5 minute walk from the...

I stayed here for 2 nights with my wife and we had a very pleasant stay. Our suite was very cozy and homey, our bed was incredibly large and comfortable, the food was really good (we had breakfast, lunch, and dinner multiple times), the service was impeccable, and the staff very friendly. The lounge bar was also a great place...

Surrounded by the hustle and bustle of Agua Calientes is this little gem of a hotel. It is very modern, very beautiful inside. The staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms were lovely, very modern but not large. They were standard size for a hotel room. The sliding patio door opened to a garden area with hanging vines. The...

Loved this hotel! Located in a prime location. It is fun, modern, with an attentive staff. The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. Perfect place to relax and unwind after hiking through the ruins.

This hotel was booked for us as part of our Machu Picchu tour, and exceeded our expectation. Because of the budget, we opted for 3-Star hotels, so we didn't know what to expect, but this was extremely good - the rooms were nice and clean, comfortable bed, the restaurant was good and we had dinner which was good. The hotel...

Great, modern and eco friendly hotel with a minimalistic feel to the decor although stylish. Worth staying at and be sure to spend some time at their spa. Food was also great whilst taking in the view from upper level of the restaurant.

This whole town is geared for a quick stopover for the throngs of tourists on their way up and down to Machu Picchu. The El Mapi is a huge, impossible to miss, modern, ecologically friendly hotel 3 minutes walk from the train station. Pickup was prompt and checkin, despite it being very busy, quick. Rooms were clean, light and comfortable....

After 3 nights of hiking and camping along the Cachicatta Trail, we arrived in Aguas Calientes, and headed straight to Machu Picchu. El Mapi porters met us at the train station and took our bags back to the hotel for us! Nice! After returning from out first walk through of Machu Picchu, we checked in to the hotel and were...

Rooms are beautiful and contemporary. The bed is very confortable with a nice, thick duvet. Deluxe products in the bathroom. Food is excellent. Drinks are good, especially the Pisco Sour. Breakfast is plentiful with made to order waffles. Well located. The shuttle for the Machu Picchu stops at the door.

Toronto to Aguascalientes is no small feat. So to arrive to the base camp of Machu Picchu and find a stylized hotel with a lively bar and restaurant was certainly a pleasure to behold. The rooms are basically sized - we had a twin (2x singles split) which included a screened sliding door. Music to my ears as i love...
