Restful rooms, great quality beddings and toiletries in the midst of bustling Inkatera. Good selection at breakfast and lunch, although the buffet at S60 was pricey; in comparison to restaurants in the area. Pisco Sours at the bar after a days hiking is not to be missed. Wake early for a good view of Machupicchu at sunrise. Good place to... More

This hotel was ok. The staff was very nice and helpful. We took a nature tour of the Inca Terra (hotel) grounds which is a botanical garden. (We were actually supposed to stay here but I waited too long to confirm - beautiful resort). We spent about 3 hours here taking pictures of the birds, flowers, and butterflies. --- Great... More

Great value for money hotel. Found it very comfortable and modern. Dinner was included as part of our package. Good value for what we paid. Perfect place to overnight. Beds were super comfortable. Had a great nights sleep before going up to Machu Picchu the next morning.

This is a very modern hotel. We were on a tour so I don't know the cost but it was too noisy for my taste. The restaurant was good but was right above the bar and the bar had very loud music. The music did stop around 9 so that wasn't too bad. There are four big buildings in a... More

El Mapi is a very cozy hotel with a modern touch. It is located on a cute street and you can walk to the Aguas Calientes train station and to the buses that take you to Machu Picchu. The rooms are very clean. The Wifi connection was good. For those who want to hike Machu Picchu at sunrise, breakfast starts... More

I was only here for one night, but really enjoyed my stay. The lobby and decor are modern and cool, and the rooms are clean, good-sized, with comfortable beds, etc. It all felt rather surprisingly current and sophisticated given the location. I really appreciated its style and comforts, (as well as my free tasty pisco sour in the lovely bar.)

Aguas Calientes is a funky little tourist town at the base of Machu Picchu. The town is great to walk as it has lots of restaurants, bars and souvenir shops as you would expect. Many of the folks are backpackers, hikers, etc. Most of the hotels reflect that clientele. The El MaPi is different in that it has a modern,... More

This is a first class facility, complete with a fantastic cocktail bar, huge restaurant with a classy menu, comprehensive buffet breakfast. The whole place feels like its brand new. our room was very appealing with all the mod cons and an enormous soft white bed, robes, great toiletries. It was such a pleasure to step out of the bush and... More

We stayed here for one night before leaving to Machu Picchu. The checkin was quick and efficient. The rooms were small but comfortable. it was cold and they provided portable room heaters. We did eat at the restaurant and food was good. the breakfast buffet is adequate -nothing special but enough before an early start to machu Pichu
