If you want two nights at Machu Picchu then this is the place to stay. Large rooms well equipped, good bar and a great service and food in the restuarant. The queue for buses for Machu Picchu is just a minute away. The village of Aguas Calientes is interesting with some underground hot water springs supplying baths where you can... More

Staying here as part of a tour group, I had no choice. The only positive comment was that the hotel was clean. The bathroom door was broken. The room was very basic. Dinner and breakfast were sub-par. I am glad it was only for one night.

Very cute hotel tucked one street away from the main street where you line up for Machu Picchu bus, good shopping and 1.5 blocks from train station. Crazy busy at front desk - I'm talking about 5 people there working, but 40 people gathered to register. Room is small but clean and nice. Breakfast and dinner food was adequate. BUT... More

We stayed at the El Mapi before going to Machu Picchu the next day. Though not luxurious, the hotel has a contemporary feel. Though a little bit small, the room and bathroom look new and clean and I feel very comfortable during our stay. It is located on the main street in town and very close to the train and... More

First impression of this hotel is that it is cool and contemporary. However appearances are deceiving as the walls are paper thin and it is very noisy. You can hear the bar downstairs, people walking upstairs, talking in the hallways and doors slamming all night long. TV didn't work. The dinner in the hotel was mediocre and my 11 year... More

Excellent service and beautiful accommodations. Our tour included free dinner in the restaurant which was superb. The beds were beyond comfortable. Excellent staff and grounds that really blended in with the beautiful surroundings. We would stay here again. Our trip was in 2014.

While this hotel is lovely, apart from the front reception most of the staff are surly and unhelpful. Again while the food was nice the staff seemed constantly harried and guest requests were often followed by rollin eyes. Also don't expect to be served anytime soon at the bar. A camel would die waiting!

The hotel has a nice modern style and the rooms, though very small, had everything we needed. We were pleased that dinner and breakfast was included for our stay. They were also able to hold our luggage when we went to Machu Picchu and offered to have them brought to the train station. That was a nice option to give... More

Comfortable rooms, complimentary first drink, good buffet with made to order pasta or omelets, depending on meal. The view from the restaurant is nice, too. The town is very small and this hotel was centrally located, easy to find. Check out the gift shop, too. They had nicer offerings than most of the merchants in town that we didn't see... More

The room was very comfortable and good, up to modern standards with good facilities, there was a nice covered bar area and helpful and attentive staff. Breakfast was good although the restaurant was a little disappointing for a vegetarian evening meal with offhand service ( although it was very busy.) Looking around the area, it did seem to be the... More
