Nice hotel to stay at, it’s right by the raging river so if you don’t like that noise you may have an issue but I like the white noise because it helps me sleep. I got upgraded to the top suite which is really nice and the staff are very nice as well, I had issues with the hot tub and they came and looked at it right right away. Only issue I had is that you can’t flush toilet paper down the toilet, as a Canadian I’m not use to this and find it kinda disgusting that I have to put it in the bucket but most hotels in this town are like this do don’t let this discourage you from staying at this hotel, the rooms are still great and I would definitely stay here again.

Dear guest: Thank you for the time it took to share your experience. In reality, the contamination of the trains is clearly the responsibility of the railway company, however I comment that it is not usual for them to have this type of inconvenience, their case is totally isolated. I understand that the trains are constantly being renewed to avoid pollution in the Peruvian District with less pollution, which is Machu Picchu Pueblo. Sincerely: Alcides De La Cruz Commercial Manager

The hotel and the entire town of Aqua Calientes lost electrical power from 730 pm until 7am. No lights, hot water, or ability to charge cameras for our next day at Machu Picchu. When we returned to the hotel after our hike, we spoke w the manager and mentioned that we were disappointed they didn’t have a generator for back up power. The manager went way beyond our expectations to make it up to us. She immediately comped dinner and massages for two. We were extremely impressed with both the manager and staff! Highly recommend this hotel!

We enjoyed a lot staying at Casa Del Sol. Staff were friendly, Ruth and Mireya received us very well. The jacuzzi is great after a long day to relax before a massage. I also liked the location, about two blocks from the train and bus station. Look the view in the photos 😍
