I spent one night here to see Machu Pichhu the following day. I arrived late (around 11:30pm) and was easily able to check in. The employee spoke no English at all so we had to muddle our way through my bad Spanish (thank God for Google Translate!). He took me to my room after assuring me several times that there... More

I would have liked to have stayed in a better hotel in Aguas Calientes but this hotel was part of a tour we booked. Our bedroom had great views to the river, but I had problems with not having hot water to take a shower (had to leave the water running for over 10 minutes to get lukewarm water). They... More

We stayed in this hotel only for one night. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We had a mountain and river view and it was just beautiful. The front desk people were nice and helpful. The only issue we had with this hotel is that the Internet was really slow in your room and had to go... More

Our stay here was booked through a travel company and the thinking that caused them to book us here has made me question ever using them again. We arrived by the late train, so it was already dark when we got to the unlit entrance of the hotel. If there hadn't been someone at reception, I would have assumed the... More

We stayed in this comfortable hotel which was a great jumping off point for Machu Picchu. Outside of our room, was the Urubamba River. We stayed during the rainy season and the river was high. The roar of the river was actually soothing and spectacular to witness. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. I loved the small... More

As usual when it rains cats and dogs here in this town, the electricity breaks down. For a hotel prized 80 USD/night, you may expect that they have a generator. They placed us in a room with a view on a wall. Because other rooms were open and empty we asked for a room with view on river. Very noisy... More

The hotel is simple but the price is good and they have nice rooms. Wifi is not available in all rooms and the breakfast could be better. Ask to stay at a room on the back (by the river) due the noise of the train at the front rooms. The receptionists are very kind.

Arrived to this hotel, after three days trekking on the Andes, cold, smelly and tired. Me, not the hotel!! Check-in www swift and the room was amazing. Large comfortable double bed. Spacious hot shower. TV with CNN and BBC world news. Breakfast was slightly chaotic as everyone was trying to eat at the one time and leave for Machu Picchu.... More
