After 35 years of service in Machupicchu Town, Gringo Bill's has become one of the best choices for mid-range tourist. We have been working non-stop to improve our small family owned business to provide our guest with a special place in an "out-of-the-ordinary" type of hotel in Machupicchu Town. We thank all those who have commented on our hotel and we are taking any bad comments to good use to help us prepare much better. Thank you kindly, Lawrence Kaiser

I have not one bad thing to say about my stay with Gringo Bill's. I ordered the room through Airbnb and it was an incredible stay. Everyone was friendly from beginning to end and the staff was attentive to anything we needed. The room we stayed in was one of the higher rooms of

Lovely hotel - great location, right off the square (which equals noisy until about 10 pm but that’s ok), wonderful breakfast, and all the extras. Our room was big and the bed was so comfortable. There are several areas for lounging, a book exchange, hot water and various teas

Like all tourists to Aguas Calientes, we stayed here a night before visiting Machu Pichu. For the uninitiated, Aguas Calientes (or the Machu Pichu town as it is called now) is a tiny tourist village which appears to mainly cater to tourists visiting Machu Pichu. The hotel was

We went in October and the weather was good for trekking. Also our guide said that MP is quieter at that time of year.

Gringo Bill's was a good place for us. Clean room and bath. Don't remember any odor issue. Don't know about the VAT as our travel agency arranged and paid all our tour fees. Gringo Bill's is just a short walk from the center of Aquas Calientes where the tour buses load for the trip to Machu Picchu. There are numerous food venues, shops with souvenirs, clothing, etc. in close proximity. The train station is fairly close as well.
