The family who runs this hotel is very nice! They pick-you-up at the train station when you arrive (common practice in Aguas Calientes since there are no cars). They take your bags for you if you want (we did not need it). And they were trying to accommodate us the best way they could. The hotel is not new but...

Don't be fooled by the modern bed linen in the pictures this hotel is DATED! And expensive for what it is but I figure that all the hotels in AC probably are similar. There is no sound proofing at all so bring your ear plugs!

The hotel is hard to find. Im pretty contented with the room size although there's no ac (it is not that hot afterall). The linen is very thin which i was worried at first because of the temperature outside. The room and the toilet are well-maintained. I had a good sleep after traveling from Cusco. The breakfast served later than...

The property is quite dated and the bathrooms especially could use some updating. This town is a tourist destination that many people will visit only once in their life so the quality of services reflects that. Prices are higher and service is less focused on perfection than other areas in Peru. This hotel was not awful but it was the...

It is far from the station and hard to find-They told us someone would meet u at the station but no one came until we asked another hotel and they told them to come and find us as we were lost. The place is noisy; no rest for the weary. It is economical and clean and breakfast is included.

Don't know why this hotel has gotten some negative review. My family had three rooms there on April 30 and all were very nice large rooms with a good bathroom. Yes, there was some street noise but anywhere you stay in AC is going to have that. Breakfast was decent and it's a close (downhill!) walk to the train station...

Right next to a restaurant/bar that had a speaker outside blasting music late into the night. It, and the sounds from the street, sound like they are right in your room. Bathroom sink leaked from the drain pipe onto the floor causing a huge puddle. The room overall smelled of dampness and mildew. The bed was king sized and comfortable...

The rooms were smelly, the lobby was dark, a lot of street noise We left two bags in the storage room while traveled to MachuPichu, and one returned wet as if it's bottom was socked in water. Compering to other places we stayed in Peru this one was disappointing.

For the price it was excellent! It's not 5 star, but for a night, it was perfect for us. We had no reservation and were able to negotiate our room to 70 soles (about $30 USD/night.) Our room was very clean and comfortable (with jacuzzi tub.) The free wifi was very strong as well and there was plenty of hot...

Close to train station and center of town, as well as the buses up to Machu Picchu (about 5 min walk to everything). Staff forgot to pick us up at the train station and were asleep when we tried checking in (and we had let them know about our 11pm arrival)- eventually we were able to wake them up (room...
