This hostal is very convenient and right behind the train where you get off. They sent someone to greet us and take us to their hostal. We had a room at the back, so you hear the river and not the train. Room was clean, very basic, but hot water for the shower. Breakfast was very basic, bread, eggs, coffee.... More

We were there for 2 nights. The sheets were clean and crisp. The whole room was cleaned and sheets were changed after the first night. Plenty of hot water. It can be noisy due to the trains but we were so tired from hiking Machu Picchu that it didn't really bother us.

The reviews of Adelas seem to be mixed, depending on which side of the hotel you stay on...please try to get a riverside room. At the time of our reservation, only triple room #3 was available on the river side, so we paid a little extra for the room but we were very glad that we did. The sound of... More

Still pricey for what you get but that is how it is in this area. The rooms were very clean, and the hot water ran well after warming it up for a minute or two. They had satellite TV (pretty amazing for the middle of nowhere, kind of) that had English movies on and the wifi was ok. Good enough... More

We were only there briefly, arriving late and departing early at 5am for Machu Picchu. Because we were leaving before breakfast, the staff gave us goodie bags with bananas, juice, and granola bags. They also gave my wife a small gift. We appreciated their nice staff!

We stayed 3 nights at Adela's, our first night in Room 5 and then we were moved to Room 4 for the next two nights. Since Adela's is right next to the train tracks, Room 5 would vibrate from the noise-which was all part of the experience, so we didn't mind. Room 4 overlooked the beautiful Urubamba river and we... Conveniently located near the train station and bus station. Good basic hotel for 1 night's stay. We got a room facing the water which was nice. The hotel can get loud as it is right by the train tracks however we didn't have a problem over night and we woke up early to head to Machu Picchu. If you just... More

My reservation got messed up, but the lady put us up next door. She offered to still give us breakfast the next morning(since the new hotel charged for it), then chewed us out for not showing up for it. The other place was fine, if a bit loud with the train. Clean and pretty comfortable. The girls at the new... More
