We wanted a place to stay in Aquas Calientes that was reasonably priced (relatively) and offered nothing more and nothing less than a place to sleep and wake up early to go to Machu Picchu. It's a practical choice that gets the job done if you don't plan on staying for much time in your room or in the hotel... More

We have seen the (positive) reviews on Tripadvisor but somehow never properly registered the fact that Adela's was virtually ON the railway track so my heart sunk when we got there and Hiram Bingham was rolling past. I suffered quite badly from altitude sickness in both Cusco and the Sacred Valley so by the time we got to Aguas Calientes... More

We only stayed one night but it was just fine. Beds were comfy, hot water worked, staff was very friendly. Many people mentioned mosquitoes but we were there in September and never saw a one. The rooms on the river side are only double beds; we wanted twins so ended up on the train side. It's fairly noisy but there... More

This is a basic accommodation while exploring Machu Picchu. The price is inexpensive. The rooms are big and comfortable enough with its own bathroom. I didn't like the flying insects near the lights but it isn't bother us much after some time. Just don't open the windows so mosquitoes don't get inside the room. Free breakfast is just ok.

This was a very affordable, clean, comfortable hotel with rooms that are on the river side. The front faces the train tracks but Aguas Calientes is a small pueblo and it's impossible to avoid the sound of trains - except at night, thankfully. My room was clean and comfortable and the staff very courteous. I would recommend this Hotel for... More

We stayed at Adela's just for 1 night. The hotel is very close to the train station and also to the bus stop which takes you to MP. We had room with river views which is to my opinion the better option as the other side is facing to the train and it gets very noisy! Before you go I... More

This hostal is very convenient and right behind the train where you get off. They sent someone to greet us and take us to their hostal. We had a room at the back, so you hear the river and not the train. Room was clean, very basic, but hot water for the shower. Breakfast was very basic, bread, eggs, coffee.... More

We were there for 2 nights. The sheets were clean and crisp. The whole room was cleaned and sheets were changed after the first night. Plenty of hot water. It can be noisy due to the trains but we were so tired from hiking Machu Picchu that it didn't really bother us.

The reviews of Adelas seem to be mixed, depending on which side of the hotel you stay on...please try to get a riverside room. At the time of our reservation, only triple room #3 was available on the river side, so we paid a little extra for the room but we were very glad that we did. The sound of... More

Still pricey for what you get but that is how it is in this area. The rooms were very clean, and the hot water ran well after warming it up for a minute or two. They had satellite TV (pretty amazing for the middle of nowhere, kind of) that had English movies on and the wifi was ok. Good enough... More
