This is an absolutely lovely hotel. The Hatun I N T I hotel is located right on the river. The balconies on the back side almost hang over the river. Rooms are good sized with a large tub and a fireplace. The breakfast buffet is excellent with cooked omlettes available.
I stayed for two nights at Hatun, while visiting Machu Picchu. It was even better than I imagined, and the highlight of my stay in Peru. Hotel Manager Zenaida and her team were delightful, greeting me with a smile at all times and helping out with all my requests. The room, overlooking the Aguas Calientes gorge, just stunning. Spacious, comfortable, with a luxurious bathroom with spa bath with view to the river. The buffet breakfast was exceptional too, clearly prepared with care and attention. Highly recommended.
Nice hotel, very accommodating and the room was clean and comfy. Good location and close to restaurants and shops. Breakfast was enough and very tasty as well. They helped us a lot when we were needing a room when the Cusco protests were going and the city was filled with tourists, big thank you for that. Definitely recommend.
This is a beautifully located boutique hotel, very near to the train station, bus station and many restaurants. The view from our room (403) were of the mountain and river below - quite striking. The bed was extremely comfortable and spacious (we had a king suite). The room had tea making facilities and a stocked fridge (pay per use). There was also tea making facilities in the hotel lobby. The village Aguas Calientes is quite and the hotel was quite throughout our stay, however on leaving we could hear some construction / maintenance drilling and banging going on, probably normal as most people are out and about during the day. The hotel is very clean and modern, we had a suite (large room) which had a built in jacuzzi for two, with salts and bubble bath, very welcoming after a day hiking in the mountains. There are still covid limitations and breakfast timings vary from day to day or perhaps that is down to number of people at the hotel? For our trip up to Machu Picchu, breakfast was available at 5-30am, so definitely a hotel catering for tourists visiting Machu Picchu. The catering staff, chefs and waitress were exemplary, very friendly and [covid] safe, infact on the early morning start day for us, it happened to be my wife’s birthday and the chef baked a cake and the whole staff sang happy birthday to her - a lovely gesture. Wifi is a bit hit and miss, the staff on duty throughout our stay did not have the password for the only network available in our room. However the friendly receptionist rigged up a mobile phone expander near our room, although this involved unplugging the emergency lighting system. Hopefully this was a one off. All in all we would recommend this Hotel for anyone visiting Machu Picchu.…
This is a beautiful hotel, in a great location and their staff was wonderful. Our room had a jetted spa, large comfortable mattress, and beautiful view of the river. The breakfast that was provided was delicious. I doubt if I will ever be in the area again, but if I were I would stay here!
This was a great place to stay! The room was very comfortable, there was a hot tub, and the room was on the river side. What an awesome view! It is close to the train station and there are several places to eat within walking distance. Bridget was a great host, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included and what a fantastic breakfast! Fruit, juice, toast, eggs, cereal. I highly recommend this hotel!
Our room was on the river side and it was amazing! The view from our window was straight up a luscious mountain with the rapids below. The room was large enough for 4 people and had a good size bathroom. The reason it gets only 4 stars from me is because it was lacking a few modern amenities, like easily accessible electrical outlets. Breakfast was also good. They even had coca leaves to chew! Overall, great place to stay.
walk in and it feels like mmm not going to be a good experience well forget that the rooms are superb...jacuzzi hot tub right on the noisey urambamba river. two steps from the train station and the bus to macho picchu. in respect to the river, i had my best sleep, all trip.
Nice boutique hotel overlooking the Urumbamba River. Friendly and welcoming staff. Perfect location for Machu Picchu visit. Close to bus transfer to Ancient Machu Picchu. Thank you for making our stay memorable.
We checked in after a 2 min walk from the train!! Amazing the large room with fireplace, jacuzzi and shower that faced the river. We escaped with just the two of us and is made for a passionate escape!!! They had Himalayan bath salt candles everything!!!The river could be heard all night! Great value!
