In neither so charming or so relaxing nowadays Aguas Calientes, this hotel is rather well located in a very quite little side street, but easy to find and not too far away from the train station or the bus stand etc. and it offers a better than average breakfast selection.

The hostel is well located, we had 2 beds in a common room, but no one else was staying there. Shared bathrooms, not very clean. Mold almost everywhere, rooms and bathrooms. The staff is nice and helpful. Good breakfast in the morning. Good for a night before Macchu Pichu, not longer. Wifi only working in the lobby.

Good morning Ana, and thank you for writing a review for Pirwa Machu Picchu. We're glad that the staff and breakfast were to your looking, but regret that the state of the shared bathrooms weren’t up to standard during your stay- we’ll let housekeeping know that they should be checking them more often during the day, since these bathrooms are...

The people there are nice and helpful. Our room was a private room and it was clean, bed cozy , the view wasn't good, bathroom clean, the wifi only works in the lobby. Breakfast was basic it's better if you go to the mercado and eat caldo de gallina.

Good morning Izabelle, and thank you for writing us a review. We’re glad that the staff and the room were to your liking, despite the lack of a view. The network in Aguas Calientes isn’t that great, and sometimes it goes down completely, affecting local homes and businesses. On times when the signal is weak, we do recommend going to...

The breakfast was at 4h30 in the morning, perfect for those who will go up to sunrise at Machu Picchu. The facilities were great - comfy beds, clean showers with hot water. The atmosphere was great and it was easy to meeting other travellers. I really enjoyed my trip at this hostel. It's centrally located and very clean. We did...

Hostel style room didn't have lockers in the room. Shower sprayed right on to the floor and soaked everything. Massive windows from the hallway peered right in to the bedroom. Banging noisy air/con units from adjacent rooms right by your head outside. 4:30 Am breakfast was not served at 4:30 like the signs said. Wifi was unusable with weak signal....

Didn't manage ti sleep as the bed Wasn't comfortable at all, and there was a terrible smell, I went to the hall to connect to the wifi (which only works in the hall). There I saw a man sleeping on the sofa in the hall and there was no one awake. So I decide to take a couple of picture...

typical breakfast is included, it is a bit of a walk from the bus (10 minutes) and in a smelly alley, but not a terrible location as it is 2 minutes from the hot-springs (which I don't really recommend, they smell strongly of sulphur and will stain white clothes). The room was clean and showers were hot. No coffee with...

Good afternoon, and thank you for your review. We’re glad that you enjoyed your stay overall. Actually, coffee is generally part of the included breakfast, so please forgive the omission during your stay; we’ll try to avoid such oversights in the future so that one can enjoy their day with the requisite caffeine. A basic room but very clean. The guy in the counter was very helpful with all of our questions. They let us keep our bags in their lockers after the check out so we could go relaxed to Machu Picchu and enjoy. There is a small supermarket right in front of it and the hostel has a kitchen. I would...
