Thank you for your review. I must say, I completely understand & sympathise, as that was a tough evening all round. A neighbours property, under construction, a few doors down, on a street behind us Suffered an electrical fire outbreak & as a result, all houses nearby suffered heavy smoke haze blown from strong winds from the nearby beach. (Our pool also at the back, being outdoors was indeed affected with wind blown debris from same incident). Thankfully the fire service responded eventually and things were eventually controlled. We have since within 24 hrs cleared & corrected the PH balance of the pool & our whole property is back to top shape. Other Residnts are again using the amenities fine. My apologies for this freak issue, I came by to see ALL our guests, to personally apologise, but you checked the next day by the time I got there. Nevertheless, our apologies, we are somewhat unable to pre-plan for such incidents, but just have to make the best of things if & when they do happen. You can contact our office for a refund for your last night of this incident should you want to. We would also have loved an earlier notification too from you, perhaps using the complaints/comment cards provided at check out desk. So that we can try correct things as soon as we are aware of how you feel. Thanks again for your stay, sorry about the evening, contact us for a resolution should you want to, we CHERISH your custom and hope to see you again. *Thanks also for your positive vote on our Staff & customer service.

We are always happy to receive any list of suggestions for improvements. * Our product focuses on offering the BEST Extended-Stays experience & is slightly different from hotels, e.g: We offer apartments with kitchens, enabling you cook etc. * Amenities from regular Hotels like toothbrushes, toothpastes, ear buds etc are not in our current amenity mix focus, I understand that you enjoy them and would like to see such. * Now, Action has already started on your list, We've instructed our contractor to supply/install mini-safes in all the smaller studios just as the ones we have in our larger apartments. *Thanks again for your stay & review, we hope you do come back again to see how your input has helped us grow! I and my family came in from manchester and we stayed at the hotel for 2weeks. We fell in love with the place especially my kids. Spacious room which they loved the most. My daughter loved the pool also. Friendly staffs especially Uche the front desk lady. Always ready to help

Hello Sir I'm so sorry & we completely understand your frustrations. I sincerely apologise. It was a combination of unexpected issues, but We accept it could & should have been much better handled. Your trip success is really our focus & we do feel bad. The guest in the apartment EXTENDED their stay impromptu. We were trying to get you an alternative 1-Bed apartment of a good standard when you arrived, but it was difficult to find a decent one at similar rates for you. Please accept our apologies, I'm happy you found a suitable hotel. We are truly sorry Sir, please do try to put it behind you and focus on getting the best out of your few days Lagos. Many thanks for your review Madame, it will help us be better. I'll respond to your comments by starting in reverse order: We're glad you ''liked the apartments, our modern and stylish feel, room size, good free wi-fi, hot water, constant power & location, & price'' ! Thank you on behalf of our whole team, we will strive to keep it so. I've also looked into your major complaint & basically it was a very simple thing that caused the poor check-in rating you pointed to: Its easily explainable & has been corrected with the booking site: (A) 1) The 1-Bed Apartment doesn't have 2 Queensize beds as standard to take 4-Adults in, due to its large size (60m2) it's able to take an extra bed if necessary, but at a daily rate which is normal. (The 2-Bed Apartments have 2 queens in them standard) 2) The website you booked from has a glitch which had been reported to them for correction prior, but wasn't effected. 3) We decided to waive all our charges for providing and setting up an extra Queensize bed in the apartment for your stay (as the listing error wasn't your fault), but first, the Duty Manager had to call & log a complain to the online referring website Rep, who agreed to resolve the issue with us later). Despite this income loss, Its quite unfortunate that our efforts to serve & satisfy you, has been misconstrued as an attempt to take financial advantage of you based on your perceived "American accent''. This is terrible. All this could have easily been explained to you with a little patience. We welcome constructive comments & will strive to improve our services. However, we feel that Its rather unbecoming your insinuations & generalisations that Nigerians are typically fraudulently. Most of us are rather decent people. We would just rather focus on serving our guests diligently and honestly and improving with each Guest experience & feedback the right way. Please do not hold such views. I'm sure that you didn't have ANY other experiences either at Millennium OR any of the other hotels you stayed at that would warrant this view you hold. (B) On the breakfast, we feel your comments are not fair. Note that UNIQUELY we offer Apartments, and guests have the luxury of making their own meals in them. (Hotels do more of the FREE breakfasts models & charge higher rates). We charge for our meals & PLUS room service delivery too. Our menus & prices are readily available to peruse & choose what they want & can afford. We however expect that when served, guests should pay accordingly. (C) Sorry about the key-card requests, due to our strong security focus, extra keys are issued ONLY under a scrutinised & rigorous Manager approved process. We are now looking at necessary changes, without security compromises. D) Your suggestion/advice is noted & Concierge staff have been asked to be free about giving tips on where to go. We also do post places of interest and fun for residents to visit up on our Facebook page now. Glad your few days in Lagos worked out, wish you the very best of 2016. 3 of 5 stars isn't our goal, we are already working towards improving this, Its continuous.
