Detailed Reviews
Well, the hotel is very comfortable and pleasant but I think they need to work on their kitchen services and. Not to impose their meal on customer. I brought some fast meal from a restaurant a night before and by the next morning d kitchen refused to microwave it for me because it wasn't their meal, I thing that shouldn't be.

The street passing in front of the hotel is a one way street, and well lit at night. Cameras installed both on street and inside hotel. I felt very safe walking to the university busy and bustling street. Lots of parking space inside the hotel. Entry in & out is very well managed. The lady at the beauty shop does an excellent job with pedicure. She is also awesome with braiding and the price is great.

Customer service is crappy!! The present General manager (an elderly lady) is very rude and annoying. Dirty stinking gym. No pluging socket in the rooms. Dirty old bedding. Wouldn't advice to stauy here. Ther are way better places in lagos. No quality for money paid

The customer service from the employees was of great quality. The employees were polite and willing to help at all times. In addition to this, there are cameras all around the building coupled with a security team at the entrance of the premises which made me feel safe at all times. The General manager is also a loving woman who was constantly willing to help. Lastly, the guest house has got great facilities such as a gym and a dry cleaning department which made my stay more enjoyable. I strongly recommend this guesthouse to anyone looking to enjoy a quality accommodation during their stay in lagos. x

I enjoyed my stay at the guest house. The people at the recpetion desk were quite homely and always smiling. The response to inquiries was good. The only thing that was low for me was the price of stretching my shirts. The car hire service was good particularly the man called Mr. ARMSTRONG he is a perfect gentle man.

Staff were Very friendly and the cafe serves good food. But the rooms are run down. The pressure is extremely low making taking a shower a real pain. The wifi is also rather slow. No water was provided in the room and there is no coffee and tea or water in the room. Nothing much to do in the surrounding area either. The best part of staying there was probably the food at the cafe especially the local fare and the really really friendly staff at the cafe.

Staff is very helpful. Location is also okay. Rooms are okay. Room service is really good. NSPRI guest house can be good choice with the consideration of price. It's not perfect but okay for what you pay. Safe place with in house restaurant.

Let me say at the outset, that the staff members at this Guest House were very friendly and helpful, especially Kennedy who was super kind and super helpful to me and a really nice person.
Lagos is not a particularly easy place to live (especially with the frequent, daily outages of electricity), and I guess not a particularly easy place to run a guest house. NSPRI is a safe and comfortable place to stay. The rooms are spacious and clean, though a little run down. My room (105) had a good air conditioner and reasonable WIFI. The bed was comfortable though the pillows were a little lumpy.
The TV did not get very good reception. The bathroom was adequate and had soap but no shampoo. The hand held shower head could not be attached to the wall, though with a bit of string I managed to mount it on the shower curtain rail, which worked well.
The meals were ordinary by western standards with lots of carbohydrates. The few attempts I made at having protein were disappointing. I ended up sticking with pasta, bread and rice with omelette and little meat. The menu was extensive but often many of the items are unavailable. The meals served in the restaurant came to the table covered with gladwrap, which is not very appetising (and rather strange- no idea what is going on here). I was there for a week and I have to say that the owner tried very hard and the quality and service of the meals seemed to improve as the week went on.
The laundry service seemed very expensive to me.
Hint: You are not told this, but the way you get your roomed cleaned is to leave your room key at the front desk. I didn’t know this and just kept my key, and consequently my room was never cleaned during the week I was there (luckily I kept it pretty tidy).

Spent 8 days here. Very nice clean rooms. Bathroom shower gave a trickle - no pressure ( I was on second floor). Faucet did not work very well either. Complained - two guys came looked at it and said must be relaxed and then nothing happend during my stay.
The bar/restaurant was okay but very very slow service ( even taking orders have to wait up to 30 min before someone will give you a menu!). Frequent power outages but backup comes on fast. Internet very slow.
However the people are very nice and probably the best feature of the place.
