From the first email exchange with Julia & Lahsen, we knew we were in good hands. Got recommended to experience the Atta Desert tour from the blog MarocMama and we are glad that we chose to experience it. The folks at Atta Desert Camp were extremely accommodating, professional and patient in making a customized tour of 2 Days 1 Night for us in our limited budget. We received our itinerary well in advance, so there were no surprises. They also received the advance from us at her riad in Marrkech. From our pick up in Ouarzazate to our final drop off in Marrakech, everything was very planned. The camp is located in the middle of some of the most majestic dunes we have seen. The tent was comfortable with a double bed and twin beds with a charging socket and a light. You can't expect more from a desert camp. There was even hot water for Shower. Breakfast was some of the best we had in Morocco with the nicest omelette and tea. The staff at the camp i.e Hafiz the cook and Hadi the camel guide, are some of the folks we have ever met. However, the entertainment at night could have been better as it seemed they were winging it. It was still very good. The best part was that our guide/driver Lahsen agreed to drop us off at Marrakech train station and book our tickets to fes. We absolutely loved every bit, including the stop overs at the Qur'anic libraries at Tamagroute and pottery making workshops, the acrylic dry lake with fossils. My only major concern was the our guide was constantly using his phone while driving, which given the mountainous drive made us a little nervy. Apart from that, everything was fantastic. It was completely worth it!

Thank you very much for the thoughtful review - it is good to get feedback such as yours - for us and for readers. It was a rush trip.. but we are pleased you got so much out of it. Phone use is noted - we have been and still are trying to resolve it!

The ATTA Desert Camp is wonderful and we had a great experience! Our Tour Guide/Driver was Karim; and he provided us exceptional service and was so sincere, diligent, kind, and took excellent care of us. The Camp itself is established in a gorgeous Sahara setting and is clean and well-run. All the staff are helpful and kind and provide wonderful service. We had a very fun and comfortable Camel ride. Overall, I highly recommend ATTA Desert Camp.

Recently went here as part of a road trip around South Morocco. The guide and camp staff are wonderful, entertaining, great cooks and have a wicked sense of humour. Also rather talented drivers, as it had been raining, slightly flooding the route so getting to camp was challenging but great fun. We walked over the dunes to find a good position for sunset, which was magical. The colours were vibrant as the light faded and the dunes slightly ethereal as night fell. The silence, coming from London wow... try it. The tagine served outside was delicious and we were entertained by the team with rhythmic and enchanting local music. The tents and washing facilities were comfortable, especially considering it was December and the temperatures plummeted at night. Bring warm PJs at this time of year! I definitely recommend this place and will return, next time with more people. Enjoy!

A friend and I took a trip to the desert to experience the sands. The whole team were excellent from the moment we arrived to the time we left. Even when we late due to the Moroccan roads delaying us meeting they couldn’t have been more accommodating. Food was fabulous especially as we were in the desert miles from anywhere with shops. We are going back, not sure when just need to sort diaries. We went off peak to had the camp to ourselves. Great laugh.

Overall we had a wonderful experience. At our rihad after the trip we had recommended the company to another couple looking to go to the Sahara. Aziz was a great guide. Very nice and always offering to take our pictures and make stops whenever we needed them. We absolutely loved the campsite in the Sahara. We were so impressed that the luxury camp indeed had all the amenities we needed- flushing toilet, outlets, shower, and a sink. The dinner we had that night was one of my favorite meals in Morocco- kudos to the chief! The staff there were very friendly and even willing to kill a spider in our tent haha. Great company with excellent customer service - you'll be good hands!
