Beautiful place with warm and friendly hospitality. Dinner and breakfast are excellent. The tents are comfortable and pampering. The staff is very kind and does everything to make the stay enjoyable. I want to especially thank Hamid who took care of my husband, who was not feeling well. Hamid is a very responsible and empathetic guy, and thanks to his dedicated care my husband felt much better. The stay at The Sandy Tents was wonderful and highly recommended ! Zipi from Israel

The whole trip to Morocco was memorable, but the luxury camp in Merzouga was top of the list. We arrived shortly before sunset. The camp is beautiful and the staff super friendly. We had a pleasant time talking with them before dinner time. Our tent was clean and super comfortable! Loved it!

The Sandy Tents was excellent! I have high expectations when I travel and I was especially concerned about safety this time traveling alone with my eleven year old daughter but The Sandy Tents over delivered in every way. We felt safe even the first night when it was just us. We stayed two nights and the food was wonderful, the staff really does treat you like family. We did the quads, the camel rides, henna, berber pizza workshop (he cooked it in the sand and it was wonderful, visited a nomad family and more. We have been all over the world and not only was this one of our favorite things we have done, but the service and accommodations were the best. Book this you wont regret it!

My experience was very different from the ones described in other comments. We stayed for new year’s eve, there was no wifi, no heater (it was a very cold night and most of the family couldn’t sleep because of the cold). The tents were very different (uglier) than the ones advertised on instagram and the web page. Dinner was just fine but nothing great, certainly no chef. I feel deceived and very surprised by looking at the positive reviews. I want to remark that I feel its very irresponsible to leave people to sleep in the cold.

We booked for 1 night stay at THE SANDY TENTS, Merzouga. All guests can stay connected with WiFi, enjoy dinner cooked by your very own chef. The food was very good, although tasteless. The bed was very comfortable with basic bathroom. We enjoyed Camel trekking late afternoon. SEE photos.

The Sandy Tents was an absolutely unforgettable trip of a life time. My girlfriend and I chose to visit Morocco and reached out the to the sandy tents to book a stay with them in the desert and it turned into them planning our entire 12 day trip to Morocco. The planning part with their was so simple and they made sure to cover every aspect of the planning from drivers to tours to dinner reservations everything was taken care of. The stay in the desert was by far the best part of our trip and is a must do. The only person from the company we really got to spend a lot of time with was our driver Tayebb. If you plan a multi day trip through the sandy tents I suggest you ask for Tayebb to be your driver. Tayebb is very knowledgeable on all aspects of Morocco and will answer any and all questions you have. He honestly made our trip what it was without him I honestly feel the trip would not have been the same. My girlfriend and I loved this vacation and highly suggest this trip to anyone interested. We went to Morocco with zero expectations and left with a new friend in Tayebb and the desire to return as soon as possible.

There are many "camps" in the Sahara Desert, but I can't imagine they could give a better experience than The Sandy Tents. It is definitely worth the trip. We took a 4x4 to get there, but camels are an option too. They also do a sunset camel ride. The tents are so comfortable ... no different to a hotel room (even air conditioning if needed). The food was very good. My only regret is that I didn't stay for 2 nights. While I loved my 10 days in Morocco, this was definitely the best experience. The staff are gracious and very friendly. They even played instruments and sang around the fire pit at night. If you are in Morocco you must visit this camp. I can't stress how wonderful this experience was.

Myself and a friend booked this months in advance of our trip to Morocco hoping that the desert would be a highlight. Our expectations were high, but Sandy Tents still managed to surpass them. Our guide Tayeb was always kind and great to chat with on our drive to and from the desert. We learned a lot about Morocco from him and appreciated that a lot. Once we were at the camp, we were blown away by the setup and the fact that the AC worked so well even though the tents are very remote. Staff were lovely, especially Haime, who went above and beyond throughout our whole stay. My friend got sick on our second night and he even delivered her meal right to our tent. We can't recommend them enough - we hope to be back again and will definitely use Sandy Tents!
