I stayed here for one night with the family. It was very good. The owner is a nice calm man. La Vallee des Dunes is very beautiful andere colourfull! Also the view is very nice. We went driving in the desert with a car. Also we booked a trip to the desert with a friendly guy here, which were both... More

The air condition didn't work, the room was awful and small! The staff was not so friendly. At night we didn't sleep because of the heat. From the other hand, the desert was near to us, you just across a small road and some meters later you can see and walk at the amazing desert!!! Breakfast also not included and... More

We're a group of friends visiting Morocco on a 8-days road trip and La Vallee des Dunes is one of the places where we stayed. The long drive from and to Merzouga is totally worth it! Once you're there, Ali and his son greeted us, provided us with super delicious tajine for dinner, took us to the middle of Sahara... More

Pro: Location - 10min walking distance to the dunes. Cool owner. Very good price for bed and breakfast. Good food, big portions. Owner arranged bivouac camel trip to dunes with a good provider for a fair price. After arrival we could take a shower at his place even that we already checked out day before. We could also leave the... More

We stayed here for 2 nights (2 adults 2 little kids). Location was very convenient: A quick walk into town. A few minute walk to the dunes. I was especially amazed by the mud-brick construction: The rooms were warm during the cool nights, but were quite cool during the day! We explored the dunes on foot for a long time.... More

We stayed in Hassilabied for a week, splitting our time between Vallée des Dunes and the camel trek we had planned ahead of time with Ali. The hotel is a short walk from the central square (and the bus pick-up/drop-off), and Ali offered to pick us up there. The hotel is lovely - beautifully decorated, quiet, peaceful. Our room was... Ali is a wonderful person, kind and helpful. The hotel is very nice, clean and comfortable. breakfast with views of the sand dunes is excellent, dinner is really delicious. Ali arranged us a tour with the quad and the night in the desert with camels. An unforgettable experience. I recommend this hotel and i will stay her again. Thanks Ali!

Our stay at La Vallee des Dunes was great. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The homemade food at the hotel was consistently delicious, and some of the best we had in all of Morocco. Ali, the owner, is very hospitable, genuinely friendly, and gives the impression of being a classy guy. His French is very good and he also... More

We had a nice stay at La Vallee des Dunes and everybody was very helpful and we had a great dinner cooked by the host. It's an easy 30min walk to one of the bigger dunes where we watched the sunset and enjoyed the views. Nothing bad to say about it except the beds a bit on the harder side.

Probably we had too high expectations due to the many excellent reviews, but I have to say that we were slightly disappointed. The room was small and very basic but clean. Dinner and breakfast were ok. Given its price, it was a good deal (we did not had unrealistic expectations regarding the facilities, we know you get what you pay... More
