Magic Luxory Camp:
Do not hesitate to book this camp! Staying in a desert camp was the most important part of our trip so I spent weeks researching trying to find the perfect camp. I had dwindled it down to a few options and then our first choice we had booked with actually canceled since they were closing in July since it’s the quiet month. We lucked out that Magic Luxury camp still had spots and I am so happy how it all turned out! Their camp location was perfect, it is smaller than some other camps which I preferred and is shielded in the dunes so you can barely hear nearby camps. The dunes surrounding the camp were beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our camel ride to the camp. Everyone working there was so friendly and welcoming and we had a great time chatting with them all. Dinner was sooo tasty and there were huge portions. The tents and bathrooms were clean and spacious. The staff actually gave us the option to sleep on mats under the stars and everyone opted to do that. It was beautiful and so much fun. The next morning the manager actually drove us directly to the next hotel we were staying at in Merzouga instead of dropping us off at the hotel you meet at. He knew we didn’t have a car and was kind enough to take time from his morning to drive us to our hotel which was farther away. Please do not hesitate to stay here you will not regret it!

Also, before we stayed here we were worried about what it would be like in July as so many people complained about the heat and said it was too much. The heat was NOT a problem at all. You don’t go to the camp until a few hours before sunset so it’s already cooler and it takes awhile in the morning to warm up. The tents are a little warmer but if that bothers you then sleep outside it was nice and cool!

Before this time in march 23, I was already twice in different camps in the merzouga desert and the magic luxury camp was by far the most comfortable and beautiful one.
The communication before arriving in merzouga was already very good. We were picked up very punctual exactly how it was discussed and we were given enough time before the camel ride.
I felt safe leaving the rental car at the meeting location (Hotel Le Berger)
The camel ride was very good too and without any problems. The camel leader was very friendly and took pictures of us. Our luggage was driven by car to the camp.
At the camp the personnel treated us always nice and the food (dinner and breakfast) was very delicious.
In the evening they lit a fire and played berber songs for the guest.
The tent was exclusively for couples and I didn't expect that much comfort. Everything was clean and nicely prepared. There was a toilet and a shower and the hot water was functioning without any issues.
The next day we had the choice between being driven out of the desert or taking again the camels, which we really appreciated.
Overall we highly recommend the magic luxury camp to everyone, especially to couples. Thanks again and see you next time.

The owner and staff were extremely attentive and always made us feel welcome. I had many questions before my stay and the owner was quick to respond. He made arrangements for our camels for us to go to the camp at our request in advance. You first, (if you came by car), park at a (safe location) riad and then are driven to the camels close by. Your luggage is delivered by car to the camp and waiting for you when you arrive. During the journey there are stops for photo opportunities and then to watch the sunset. We then arrived by camel, to a magically lit camp and were immediately offered tea and some snacks under the gazebo. The camp (like all of them) was situated next to the dunes, but you really feel like you are completely in them.During the stay the owner asked if we were interested in any activities. We inquired about quads and he also arranged that for us. They have sand boards you can use for free too. You have to pay cash, but not until departure. We also included all of our tips at the end which was nice as the staff divide them up. We returned by their vehicle at no charge which I recommend because after everything, we felt we were ready to just start heading to our next stop. One night is not enough to get a full experience (but is better than nothing if you are limited on time.) Two nights are perfect. They have a buffet breakfast (eggs, fruit, breads, pastries, yogurt, juice tea and coffee). Dinner was included too and was also good. They served a different entree each night. As soon as you finish dinner everyone heads over, a short walk from the camp, to a campfire and entertainment. We got to dance and also practice with their instruments. The tents were decorated lovely and were very comfortable. We had a king size bed and two twins. There is also seating outside each tent. I highly recommend this Magic Luxury Camp as it was definitely the biggest highlight of our two week journey.

Magic Luxury Camp was amazing!. My wife and I were hosted by Omar and Muhammad and they were always friendly and making sure we are comfortable throughout. The owner Muhammad is very quick in responding and gave us the best sand dune experience. The camel trekking guy Idrees was kind and made the music nights a blast! Highly recommended if you are looking for nights under the clear sky and stars. The food, music, tent, experience, everything was great! We hope to go again.

Esperienza fantastica! Perfect welcome with snacks, tea and water at will given the heat. The staff is very kind and helpful. We were the only guests and were pampered throughout our stay. Dinner was very good, the vegetarian tajine really delicious. The camp is located at the base of the highest dune, within walking distance. The desert is wonderful. Absolutely Recommendation!

Highly recommendable experience. Very nice and quiet camp with big tents and private bathrooms, abundant and tasty dinner and breakfast and a very funny excursion through the dunes by quad and dromedary. The cleanliness and comfort were great and even more so considering that we were in the middle of the desert. If I come back to Merzouga it will be to this camp. Last but not least, very friendly, hospitable and helpful staff. The value for money was unbeatable compared to other options we were considering.

Magic Luxury Camp is truly magical. We found the camp even better than as described. It takes a lot to impress us, but this camp did, The staff was friendly, helpful and often went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Breakfast and dinner were tasty and filling. Our family loved the sandboarding, camel ride and simply walking the beautiful dunes with our bare feet. The pictures we returned home with look like we were only a movie set. The entire experience was surreal. We highly recommend Magic Luxury Camp.

We stayed at Magic Luxury Camp for one night and we will always remember it. The camp is great, and the tents are high quality, equipped with all that you need (power, light, hot water, bed, blankets...). The hosts were very fun and kind and made sure we had a good time. After dinner they made a fire and played for us some African music and made sure we learned to dance to it haha it was a memorable experience and there is something magical about waking up in the desert to watch the sunrise. We also did some sandboarding which was really fun. Definitely recommend it!

We had an unforgettable experience in Magic Luxury camp!
The guys there are very professionell and friendly. Ibrahim, Saied, Hassan and the camel riding guide Edris! All of them are great. Mohammad the owner of the camp is truly a good host. He answers fast to the messages, takes care of his guests and is warm and funny. You can just contact him on WhatsApp, phone or mail.

Notes:
- We haven been one night in Dec. Of course it is cold in the desert. There was no heating system but enough blanket.
- There was private bathroom with toilet and shower, which is great. With warm water in the desert! We could take bath easily.
- The dinner was great.

If you think you go to Sahara and will find some where with no other tourists, you are wrong. There are Hunderts of camps, camels and tourists in Sahara. But to find a good one is maybe the callenge. With Magic Luxury you are on a good address.

We will come back again Inshallah!
