We had an unforgettable stay at Dunes Luxury Camp-Erg Chebbi Dunes just before the new year. The tent was comfortable, and the service provided was exceptional. The breakfast and dinner were both amazing, showcasing the culinary excellence of the camp. A special mention to the host, Hassan, who was super kind and sincerely wanted us to have the best experiences in Morocco. Overall, we did sunset camel trekking in the afternoon and ATV in the next morning. We all had a great time there! I highly recommend this camp for a unique and delightful desert experience.

My stay here at the Dunes Luxury Camp was definitely the highlight of my first trip to Morocco. My group and I stayed 2 nights and I wish I stayed the whole week. We arrived at nightfall and were welcomed with an enchanting walkway of "red carpet" flanked by Moroccan lanterns. Everything was thoughtfully and elegantly decorated from the fire pit to the pouf cushions and refreshment table set up with (you guessed it) Moroccan mint tea! Since our large group took over the camp, we could freely select our tent. My friend and I chose the tent at the end nearer to the desert for peace and quiet. There is a large bed that could easily sleep 3 and a twin bed. Mattress and bedding were clean, comfortable, warm and inviting. All the bathroom conveniences of toilet, shower, soap, shampoo, and sink are provided. From our tent, we can see out the "window" to the dunes and the sunrise in case you didn't want to get out of bed.

The dunes are obviously iconic and picturesque. To lie in the soft sand at night when all is quiet and look up at the star-filled sky is truly an amazing experience. My group and I visited at the perfect time of year because weather was temperate during the day and cool at night. Hiking the dunes, riding camels at sunset or sunrise and general frolicking in the sand are de rigueur for the complete desert experience.

Service was excellent all around. Staff was ever present and willing to provide whatever was needed to make our stay comfortable. Daily housekeeping was a welcome gesture. We were served a variety of typical Moroccan dishes at our breakfast and dinner buffets. Food was colorful, delicious, and healthy. One of our friends celebrated a birthday and the staff went above and beyond to provide a special cake along with singing, chanting and good cheer. After dinner each night we continued the fun with drumming, socializing, listening to traditional Berber music, and even dancing to an impromptu disco with "strobe light" around the fire pit. It was truly a magical experience and feel so grateful for the experience of a lifetime.

The Dunes Luxury Camp was an amazing experience from start to finish! The tents are elegant and comfortable, the food is fantastic and the central layout, with large cushions on Moroccan carpets surrounding a fire pit, is like something from a dream! Our group danced around the fire to drumming at night and in the morning did some light yoga there. Our wonderful guides from tripstomorocco.com took us to visit a lovely village of Sudanese expats where we listened to their music (which was really soothing and hypnotic) and then to visit a Berber family and have tea with them in their tent. At sunset, we rode camels out into the Sahara to view it from the prettiest peak and then snowboarded (sandboarded?) down it! We had a truly wonderful time and would have been happy to spend more time here. I cannot recommend it highly enough!

Myself and two friends stayed here as part of our tour with Trips to Morocco. Staying here and experiencing the dunes was my favorite part of our one week trip to Morocco. I would 100% recommend it. Each room has running water including a toilet and shower and electricity. There's no AC, but we were perfectly comfortable without it even in mid-September at the beginning of the tourist season when many think it's too hot still.

The. Best. Glamping. Ever. Stay here! . The location is perfect - right on the dunes. What makes it standout are the people. The kindest most accommodating people work here. Yahya went above and beyond to make us comfortable in the spacious clean ‘tent’ which has electricity, shower, toilet and wifi! Our camel guide, Omar was very thoughtful and the camels - Bob Marley, Sebastian, and Jimmy were gentle and seemingly well cared for. Sunset and sunrise on the dunes were sublime. Dinner and breakfast were so delicious. And of course the entertainment is not to be missed. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

We stayed in the Dunes Luxury Camp in Merzouga as part of our 3 day dert tour from Fes to Marrakech. The stay was great and the staff was very welcoming in particular Hassan who did a great job of making us feel settled and helping us with anything we needed.

The room itself is nice with a shower and sink that has hot water and a big bed that was comfortable. There is a multiple course meal for dinner and they were able to accommodate for vegetarians with a few adjustments to the menu (they were able to serve pasta with tomato sauce which was overall solid). Breakfast is also multiple courses and the food was great as well.

There was only one other person staying in the camp that night so the Berber music and performance was only 45 mins-1 hour, but Hassan did a great job of keeping us entertained and showing us a nice spot to see the stars at night that was close to the camp.

I booked a private tour at MARRAKECH DREAM, a local travel agency I found on VELTRA, and stayed here. I saw other luxury camps in the desert on Instagram and in reviews, and although there were other nice luxury camps, the travel agency staff said this was a trustworthy place, so I decided without hesitation. (To be honest, I was skeptical until I stayed there...) I was impressed by the wonderful space and well-equipped facilities, such as the camel ride to the campsite, the wonderful tents that you wouldn't expect to find in the desert, the hot showers and flush toilets, and more. The cheese and eggplant tagine, which can only be eaten at this luxury camp (?), was also delicious. (I was impressed by his comment that this is the only place in Morocco where you can eat it!) Meeting @HāSsānAchabou was also a wonderful memory. I was surprised that he is multilingual and can speak Korean! (He used to work at a luxury camp that many Koreans visit.)

I've always been interested in studying foreign languages, but after returning to Japan,
he was a young man with such passion that it made me want to work even harder.

My husband likes playing the djembe (a traditional African percussion instrument),
so I was able to join in the session after dinner,
and it was a wonderful memory I'll never forget.

It just so happened that the father of an Italian family staying at our hostel was a professional drummer,
and by a series of coincidences, we were able to play a session together, which was a valuable experience.

After that, we talked about the music, values, and culture of each other's countries until late into the night,
and it was so much fun that words can't describe it.

Finally, thank you!
@HāSsānAchabou, thank you so much for your help!
If you have a chance to come to Japan, please contact us!

My visit to the Dunes Luxury Camp was truly unforgettable. I did not anticipate the luxury of the tents, the warm beds to keep the cold evenings cozy, the delicious food, the warmth and graciousness of our host and staff. We were treated to Berber music, drums, under crytal clear night sky and brilliant stars. This is my idea of "roughing it." The camel trekking and sand boarding were amazing. Best of all were the sunsets and sunrises. I did not anticipate that I would fall in love with the desert at Dunes Luxury Camp.

The dreamlike experience of the Dunes Luxury Camp is amazing! Walking into camp from the desert after a sunset camel ride, an enchanted, lantern lit pathway led us to a warm welcome by the delightful staff. They pampered us with refreshments as they settled us into our sumptuous tents --comfortable bathrooms and all! After a lovely dinner in the la dining tent, we were entertained with drumming, singing and dancing in the firelight and starlit night. They even served a "camper" birthday cake with Happy Birthday sung in English and Berber (Tamazight)!
Every detail during our stay was graciously accommodated with pride, kindness and humor. It was a blast!

Our group felt in love at first sight! Everything was beautiful and everyone was ready to receive us with a welcome tea everyday! The tents were beautiful and well equipped! We went on November even tough it was cloud outside, there was heating in the dinner room and enough clothes in the tents for the night. The food was just amazing! Also there was plates for vegetarians. Outside in the evening there was always a fire and good music, we had a great time sharing stories, watching the stars and playing drums. Anything we wanted we just asked the employers. They are the best! We just left and planing on returning!
