This was a clean and comfy hotel, but do not expect much from the owners. We weren't sure exactly who the owner was. They spoke little English, and even though our Spanish was adequate, they were not overly helpful. I did enjoy my stay here. The hotel is centrally located and impeccably clean. Breakfast was ok. Not a large variety,... More

Nice hotel close to the main square. Very nice owner, she gave us really valuable tips on how to move and eat around the town. Some rooms have amazing views to the mountains, nice terrace upstairs. Great deal! 100% recommend

What an amazing place! The room was cozy and the owner was so kind. My friend and I had a late bus out of chefchaouen (at 8 PM) and the owner let us leave our stuff in the hotel while we walked around and also allowed us to come in for bathroom breaks, tea, and Internet use! Also a great... More

Clean, good location inside medina, nothing too fancy, though. Overall good value for money, you need to pay a bit extra for breakfast. One thing I disliked was the smell of marijuana at reception, but I guess that is sort of normal in Chefchaouen.

Very well maintained, attention to detail and cleanliness are flawless. The terrasse is just magical at night. The hotel is very well located, on the main narrow street of the medina. halfway between rass elma and the main plazas. the staff is very friendly and helpful, ask them where to dine, you wont regret it :)

My wife and I were curious to visit the North of Morocco, since we've been often in Morocco but always in the South. We stayed four days in Chefchaouen at Hostal Guernika. The place is an ancient Moroccan house beautifully redone.WE wereon the higher floor and there are two beautiful terraces from which you have a 360º view of the old... More

One of our favourite hostels during our one month stay in Morocco. Stunning panoramic views from the terrace that will make you want to stay up there all day. Great location in the medina, close to shops and all the major sites. The double room was small, but nice, clean and comfortable. The managers spoke Spanish so it was sometimes... More

Lovely interior, in the centre of town. We had a room on the second floor and found the room spacious. The only slight hitch was the shower: hot water and Ok pressure but the showerhead holder was broken. The water also didn't drain fast enough so there was always a slight chance of overflow. The owners don't really speak English... More

In Chefchaouen is no problem finding accommodation at a good level. However, with the Hostal Gernika, we were extremely satisfied. Perfectly comes to be situated, near the square with a magnificent two-tier terrace. Good price. Spanish owners speak only Spanish, but it ultimately did not matter. Possibility to order breakfast. The hotel is beautifully renovated and each room has a... More

Ok this is a lovely place ..beautifully decorated, very clean, inexpensive and well located. However, there are a few downsides. One, you can only book via phone and they only speak Arabic or Spanish ..I tried my Spanish two calls (and got a very impatient staff) before I could be understood! Second, because there is little English spoken you cannot... More
