This is a really comfortable Riad that gave us such a warm welcome! The Riad sent men to come down to the edge of the Medina to meet us and collect our bags. They also carried our suitcases up to our room on the top and back down to the car park when we left. It’s in a great spot where you can walk around and lose yourself but get back with google maps! Breakfast was delicious with a selection of breads, savoury and sweet, yogurt, fresh fruit, and eggs served however you like them. We also had dinner at their restaurant and I had a delicious baby goat tagine. We had a couple Hammam too which was our first time - I’ve never felt so clean and my skin was so soft Excellent staff Highly recommend

We enjoyed our stay at this small riad in the heart of the medina. Our room was well appointed with a decent sized bathroom and shower. We were on the first floor which is close enough to where breakfast is served that you will be aware when service starts. All staff were very friendly and residents have the option of having dinner in-house which we did at a reasonable cost. Worth mentioning is that it is almost impossible to purchase alcohol in Chefchaouen. This riad is tricky to find due to it’s location but a phone call in advance of your arrival and someone can meet you to guide you and help with your luggage.

This place was amazing. The service was remarkable from start to finish. Examples: - We asked for someone to meet us at the CTM bus terminal, and the Manager herself met us as we walked off the bus, she arranged the taxi, rode with us to the Medina Gate where we were met by a porter who took our three heavy bags and led us right to the place. - Lunch was prepared for us from scratch and was delicious. - We had the room on the 4th (top) floor (room #5) which was absolutely spotless and beautiful. - But the Rooftop Terrace was the unexpected surprise - the view was absolutely amazing, and was accessible from our living room doors. - In the evening we went to the lobby to relax and immediately mint tea and cookies appeared, at no charge and without asking. - The breakfast was freshly prepared for us and delicious. - We had the same service when we left - the porter carried our bags again, walked us out to the gate and got us a taxi.
This was five star all the way. I highly recommend this to anyone staying in Chefchaouen. We almost extended our stay we liked it so much.

Maybe it's my bad luck with Riads but I am not so sure. All I can say is, this is at best a 3 star riad. Read on..
This was the first Riad I stayed in, in Morocco. I had high hopes given what everyone was saying about Riads.
When I arrived there wasn't anything really wrong, but there wasn't anything impressive either. The room was tight and small, and the building itself wasn't very beautiful.
What annoyed me was that my tour guide organised an extra set of towels to be left in my room before arrival, and they didn't do this. He reminded them when we checked in but they still refused. I had to personally ask them myself and then found the towels strewn with faeces. Truly disgusting. When I asked for new towels, the lady came up in disbelief asking to see the stained towels. I gave them to her and she apologised and got ne new ones.
The younger receptionist didn't seem to understand English very well and informed me of some incorrect information which was later clarified but then it was too late.
The room was very basic and there was only one power point. I had to ask them for a power board.
The biggest issue which awards them a 1 star was that firstly I found my room had no hot water after attempting to shower at midnight. After 2 mins my room then had no water at all. No hot, no cold water.
A second major problem is that this reception is not manned 24/7. There is no one at the desk after 10pm. You can imagine what a situation I was in with no water. My tour guide had to call around before he could find someone to help me. Some guy came from another location outside came quite quickly and then fixed it. This really shouldn't have happened.
The next day they told my tour guide there was no water in the whole area but this was a load if crap as the other guests had no issues.
No water and no reception plus faeces-ridden towels? I can't give them more than one star, sorry.

This is a very pleasant place in a very beautiful setting, although in general it feels like Chefchaouen has earned its reputation more for the instagram crowd. The riad matches the settings, with pretty decorations and in general very good amenities and service. The location is not for anyone with mobility challenges as the climb from the car parking was long and uphill, and our rooms were on a third floor. I was sad to read other poor reviews, which were not deserved in my opinion, perhaps other people have different expectations of what a Riad should be.

We have been thrilled with Lina Ryad and Spa. The rooms and bathroom are beautiful and spacious with nice toiletries. The spa treatments available are so reasonable and amazing including the "hammam" which is a body scrub on wet marble by Lupna, who did a wonderful job. I also enjoyed one of the best 60 minute massages and 30 minute foot massages of my life with Ikram!! There is a beautiful indoor pool to enjoy (and you can even reserve it for free for an hour if you wish). The location is great and you can walk around all the beautiful blue streets and vendor markets. The staff has been incredibly accommodating. There is no elevator and it takes some effort to get from the main street through the alleyways to get to the hotel itself…upon the way in... however, their porters are very willing and able to help with your luggage… So it was no problem at all. They also have a rooftop terrace with lovely views of the city, particularly in the evening. Also, the food is delicious, varied and plentiful! Their welcome "lemon juice drink" is out of this world delicious! I would also like to recognize Hajar, Nejwa, Saada and Hossein who all made our visit extra special! I would not hesitate to recommend Lina Ryad and Spa when visiting Chefchaouen!

Very nice Ryad well located to visit the medina quietly and take beautiful pictures in the morning before the arrival of tourists. Swimming in the privatized indoor pool for 1 hour on RV is really nice. The view from the terrace on the upper floors is magnificent. We tested the massages with great pleasure. The welcome is excellent and when you arrive at the Parador Hotel square, ask the taxi driver to notify you of your arrival so that porters can pick you up (phew! Because it climbs.) Nice rooms, book with views of the medina preferably. Excellent breakfast and quality meals but not really Moroccan. I had a great time in this Ryad which is a unique address. You have to book directly on the website and go ahead because it is in high demand.

I want to be clear we enjoyed staying at this Ryad. It is located in the heart of the Chefchaouen Medina with an incredible view of the city. Given its location you need to be dropped off fairly far from the hotel and to walk up steep hills to get there. Helpfully, they send a porter to the drop off point to guide you and handle your luggage. The check in process is somewhat chaotic and if you are dining in the hotel you are asked to make your meal choices before you receive your room key or even get a chance to sit down. This small Ryad is a warren of steep narrow stairs and we wished that we were younger or in better shape each time we used them. The room was large and bright but hardly luxurious with very plain decoration. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was excellent. The bath was large but the walls and ceiling had cracks and the immense shower had some visible mold and loose floor tiles. There was a ceiling access panel that was visibly separated from its mounting and appeared that it might fall at any time. If you have read this far you might wonder why we liked this Ryad? It has amazing rooftop terraces with incredibly views. Chefchaouen is a beautiful city and the roof of the Lina Ryad is the perfect place to drink it in. We had dinner on the rooftop twice, the food was good and the service friendly. The front desk staff were only adequate. I heard them give misleading directions to several guests, no maps were provided. I asked for a tv directory or at least a list of stations in English, it was promised but never delivered. They had satellite tv with hundreds of stations but without a station guide, virtually impossible to navigate. At different times we found some news in English (BBC, AlJezera, Sky and France24) but no other programs in English. Of course, you are not in Chefchaouen for the tv, but every other hotel we visited in Morocco had properly sorted tv. When I went to check out I discovered they don’t accept AMEX not a big thing but that was an interesting time to discover that fact, One last note, being in the Medina there are close neighbors with enthusiastic children and prompt and equally enthusiastic roosters so don’t plan on sleeping early or late.
All in all it is the amazing rooftop and the enchanting peace of Chefchaouen you will remember once your visit is over.

After we checked into our AirBnB, we slept very little due to poor sound and air control. Needless to say, we woke up the following morning with much left to be desired and began searching for an alternate solution.
Many reviews pointed us to Lina Ryad & Spa so we walked over to check it out. Upon arriving, we found management to be extremely kind and welcoming; we were able to explore rooms while tea was prepared for us. Once we chose our room, a kind gentleman accompanied us back to retrieve our bags and transfer them to Lina.
He and the entire staff continued to go above and beyond, overseeing our laundry service, delivering meals and coffee to our room as needed, and arranging car service for us to our next destination. The icing on the cake was a special breakfast made for us prior to our early morning departure because they didn't want to send us off without food and all of the restaurants were closed at that hour.
We are very reasonable travelers who appreciate basic luxuries when traveling and we highly recommend Lina! The rooms are spacious and the entire property is well-maintained and thoroughly cleaned pretty regularly. The location is convenient and has great AC/heater and sound control.

We traveled throughout Morocco in March of last year. Chefchaouen was our favorite destination, and Lina Ryad was a highlight. The hotel design was lovingly created, with delightful winding staircases and sitting rooms in cheerful blue. The quality of each room is excellent, with touches of antiques while not feeling outdated. Everything in our room worked perfectly, and the bathroom was spa-like. The massage service was the best we had during our Moroccan travels, hands down. Breakfast, delicious. The owner is Moroccan, American education, and is well-versed with global travelers. The hospitality of the staff is outstanding. They went out of their way to make our family feel at home, giving us thoughtful advice on where to eat, shop, or find activities. If you stay anywhere in your travels in Morocco, visit Chefchaouen and absolutely stay at Lina Ryad.

I’m not sure but believe that winter able to accommodate 9 unless you can have more than 1 per room. You’d better call them directly. They’re very kind people.
There are more places to choose from in the Chefchaouen area.
