Nestled in the heart of the medina, this luxurious riad enjoys a privileged position in one of Morocco’s most unique destinations. Many of the bright and spacious suites enjoy views of the surrounding peaks and the bustling medina. 300 square meter terraces offer spectacular views, making Lina Riad and Spa a haven of tranquility within one of the most peaceful places in the world. Special attention has been paid to the harmonious shapes and colors of the mountains, with dim lights and aquatic scents captivating your every glance. Guests looking for a zen getaway should look no further.
Above and Beyond - Warm Staff, Well-maintained property
After we checked into our AirBnB, we slept very little due to poor sound and air control. Needless to say, we woke up the following morning with much left to be desired and began searching for an alternate solution.
Many reviews pointed us to Lina Ryad & Spa so we walked over to check it out. Upon arriving, we found management to be extremely kind and welcoming; we were able to explore rooms while tea was prepared for us. Once we chose our room, a kind gentleman accompanied us back to retrieve our bags and transfer them to Lina.
He and the entire staff continued to go above and beyond, overseeing our laundry service, delivering meals and coffee to our room as needed, and arranging car service for us to our next destination. The icing on the cake was a special breakfast made for us prior to our early morning departure because they didn't want to send us off without food and all of the restaurants were closed at that hour.
We are very reasonable travelers who appreciate basic luxuries when traveling and we highly recommend Lina! The rooms are spacious and the entire property is well-maintained and thoroughly cleaned pretty regularly. The location is convenient and has great AC/heater and sound control.
A unique hammam experience in one of the most beautiful places in Chefchaouen!
We spent two nights in Chefchaouen and wanted to try a traditional Moroccan hamam as a small highlight. After a short research we came across the Riad Lina which made a very nice first impression. So we went there to book an appointment. When we arrived there we found out that the ratings didn't promise too much so far. The house is beautiful and we were very warmly welcomed. The Hamam itself was very relaxing and beautiful. Everything was very discreet and the Riad Lina staff was always very obliging. Besides the unique hammam we were continuously provided with delicious mint tea and even got one or two tips for dinner. All in all a wonderful experience, which is highly recommended!
Even if you are not staying at the Riad Lina you should go there for a relaxing hammam or a massage!
We stayed at this Ryad for just one night, but we wish we could have stayed for longer! The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and leave you with the sense that you're experiencing Moroccan life (from an upper-class point of view). The staff are very friendly, and would go out of their way to accommodate us.
The atmosphere of the entire Ryad is very pleasant, and its location is optimal if you want an easy accessible way to the main plaza and chefchouen's many blue streets.

This Ryad is tucked away (hard to find without a guide) and is a little tranquil oasis. It is small and intmiate. The hotel, like the city, is all decorated in blue and was so cute. The bathroom in our room was gorgeous - dark blue tile and great style. I want to copy it for our home! Our room was right beside the pool which was a bit noisy while we were trying to rest after a long drive, but otherwise it was good. The breakfast was very good as well.

This small ryad tucked away in the middle of the old city offers beautiful views, spacious, comfortable rooms which are beautifully appointed, a friendly and welcoming staff and an inviting pool. Winding your way through the medinah and up the many stairs can be exhilarating and well worth the climb.

Except for the location and dinner, this hotel is not a 5 star hotel. The rooms are small and outdated. The bathroom can't be used but only one person at the time and the walls are so thin that you can hear everything. It is almost 1 am and I can not sleep due to the noises coming from above where I can hear children and adults yelling and screaming. Honestly, I can say that this is the worst hotel I've been in a long time.

This was an average and over priced Riad I felt. The Pros : a good location, breakfast was ok, the swimming pool is nice and you book a private slot so you get it to yourselves which is lovely. We had a traditional hammam treatment whilst there and that was very good. The Cons : staff are not very friendly. Rooms had fixtures that needed replacing/fixing and the air-con didn't work when we were there. We're fit and healthy, if you have any mobility issues the stairs and slippery floor tiles would be an issue. Dinner was not very good. It is overpriced for what you get. Personally, on retrospect I'd just recommend a day trip to Chefchaouen.

A varied experience. Staff were polite and friendly, the breakfast was excellent but dinner was disappointing. Our first room had a few issues including no internet coverage and considerable street noise but staff happily moved us to a much larger room at the rear of the building for the next night. The pool and hamman were a bonus.

A good no frills and no fuss riad. As good as they come. Clean, functional and friendly. Not as old as some of the other riads. A fusion of modern and old. A bit of a walk from the vehicle drop off point, but certainly not a deal breaker. Staff is very helpful.

The hotel is housed in a historic building right on one of the main alley in the old Medina. Given the stairs involved and how small rooms, staircases, doors etc are this place is NOT suitable for you if you have any challenges whatsoever with mobility. Rooms are small but comfortable and yes, there is a lot of environmental noise day and night ( hence possible not suitable for light sleepers). Bathrooms are too small. Our room - #3 had a lovely view across town so request that if you have a choice. Definitely one of the selling points of Lina Ryad. Breakfast was decent. The hotel is not signposted FROM THE ALLEY, asks for driving directions per Email were ignored. It is a nightmare to find the place and pointing out our difficulties to the receptionist resulted in shrugged shoulders. Pool facilities, spa treatments and meals require advance bookings. If you just stay overnight it means stress are simply not available. In sum the hotel has many flaws in its service offerings as many others have noted here as well. Management and staff seem indifferent. So will we next time we come to Chefchauen.…

Basic room accommodation and poor breakfast. Located in the centre of the town, parking at the main square as centre is car free. Quite a walk if you are handicapped.... Noise from inside and outside disturbs sleeping. The receptionist is very friendly and helpful.

This is a lovely place. It is a challenging walk from a drop off point. The one spot licensed to sell alcohol is a long walk from the ryad and is not always open. I would strongly recommend bringing any ‘adult beverages’ you will want with you because you won’t be able to get any when you are here. Breakfasts are very good. Dinners in the ryad are dreadful! Dishes are dry, dull, lacking flavor and service is not great. Find a nice restaurant for dinner.

Cosy riad with large room. All staff were warm and friendly. The rooftop has nice panoramic view of the chefchaouen city. The mattress seems old because both sides of the King bed were sunken. For me, the bed was uncomfortable. The breakfast was traditional morroccon style and decent.
