We booked a private double with ensuite bathroom for a whopping $50CAD, the most expensive place we've stayed in Morocco yet (we've been through Marrakech, Essouaira, Fez, even Merzouga!) and this place is the worst of all of them. The place was impossible to find since it's not properly shown on google maps, nor does the address have a street... More

My wife and I stayed here, after almost a week in other parts of Morocco, and loved it. It's small , simple and minimally staffed, and there is very little English, but the small team has genuine warmth and friendliness, making you feel truly welcome. The whole place is extremely clean. Highly recommend the stay, especially anyone getting a bit... More

We had a wonderful three nights here, it was clean, comfortable and the breakfast delicious, we were able to eat on the roof terrace one morning with lovely views. We were so well looked after and made to feel as if we were staying with family.

Riad Nerja is a nice place. For the price paid, you get a comfortable room, a very decent breakfast and nice customer service. The location makes it; being close to the waterfall is really different and special. I would stay here again.

We tipped someone to find the riad as we took a taxi from the bus station . It was easy to find our way back each time. No breakfast and a lot of the kiosks To buy breakfast were closed at breakfast time. No toilet door and grilled windows opening into the riad. They told us the shower would be... More

We were planning to stay 2 nights, and the best thing about the place was that we were able to leave after 1. It was nearly impossible to find, room was nice but shower really didn't work at all, and neither did wifi. But definitely the worst part was that the guy working there did not bother to help us... When our Air B and B house rental fell through - and we could not contact the host - and we were cold and tired, we waded into the walled City and were pointed to this little road by a shopkeeper, we felt extremely fortunate to get a triple room, without bath, for a very reasonable price. The room was... More

The riad (rooms and exterior) was clean, and the showers worked quite well (by Moroccan standards). The beds were comfortable and I had no problems sleeping (1AM shoe-cobbler excepted) both nights of our stay. Additionally, the hotel is within the medina and very close to the major souk areas, as well as the main square within the old city. To... More
