Stayed with family (two adults, two teenagers) on top floor in summer. It was hot but opening window at night and fan in room great. Nice and quiet. Great to have clothes line on roof. Wonderful to look at stars at night and hear Call to Prayer ricochet through valley. My Spanish made talking with hotel manager from Cueta very... More

It was very hard for me to find it while only given the address "Bab el Souqs". This basically means "local market entrance". Upon booking, the hotel states online that it takes cash or paypal but eventually it's only cash, which is a norm in Morocco. The riad itself is very beautiful but the room I was in was on... More

I went there with my sister for one night. The manager is a young woman from Ceuta who was very obliging and helpful, recommended places, brought us another couch to the room, etc... The room was clean, beautiful and a typical chaouni blue habitacion. Hearing people speak with local accent in the Medina street was a pleasure jejeje. We'd love... More

I stayed at Dar Gabriel for four nights as a solo female traveller. It's in the heart of the medina and once you know where you are, it's very easy to get to most places and is a short walk to the main square. I have limited Arabic and Spanish so I totally accept that perhaps the staff were not... More

Dar Gabriel is located at the top of the hill and in the heart of the Medina. The rooms are well maintained, the staff were friendly. There was no aircon in my room but a electric fan was provided. The breakfast included was simple but great including eggs, bread, spreads, tea, coffee and juice. There also some nice seating areas... More

This is a delightful small hotel (only 7 rooms) deep within the Medina. We were very comfortable, and the staff couldn't be more helpful. A substantial breakfast is included in the price - fruit juice, mint tea, coffee, fried eggs, cheese, local bread and pastries, and jam! There are several seating areas where you can relax/take breakfast and enjoy the... More

Room was very nice: pretty tiny blue room! Decoration is very beautiful and situation good! You can easily find back and walk around the blue village. Employee called Ahmed was very nice and helpful: he helped us with many things and took us to hike at Rif mountains! It was wonderful day! Staff did not clean our room everyday. No... More

What a place. Never have I been treated so well. The staff were always jumping out of their seats to help you. Very kind, welcoming people that makes you want to go back. Breakfast was amazing and it was always on time and very well presented. The place is clean, tidy, and just beautiful to look at. Would definitely go... More

Deep within the Medina of Chefchaoeun, Dar Gabriel offers boutique comforts and decor at very reasonable prices. The rooms are beautiful , the service friendly and attentive and the whole package offers a perfect base to explore the toen and surrounding area.

Riad Dar Gabriel was fantastic. Lovely staff, great food, stunning terrace, views, comfy rooms and perfect location. I chose Riad Dar Gabriel as the official Riad featured in my new music video yet to be released. It was a magical experience.
