Stopped in to have a quick coffee and check some emails. Was very pleasantly supprised to be presented with the best expresso since coming to morocco. The server was very friendly and spoke excellent english. The wifi was also very good.

The rooms were very nice, the hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. The food was very nice, we had vegetable soup and chicken Tagine for dinner. We only stayed here for one night so didn't spend so much time in the hotel. The pool looked nice as well. It is a short walk from the world heritage site.

Great location and views, courteous staff (who waited until our arrival at around 1:30 am), beautiful indoor decorations and pool. Very spacious rooms with additional sofa beds allowing our group of three to sleep in separated sections of the room.

We had a very nice stay in this beautiful Riad. It's nice to see how hard working and very friendly people can build out such a lovely Riad and brand new restaurant! Let's hope that UNESCO will do a good job at the historical kashbah so there will be even more reasons to go to Ait Benhaddou.

We stayed here a night awaiting for our next tour group to arrive. The pool area was very relaxing, and we enjoyed some delicious turkey skewers for lunch here. The rooms have names instead of numbers, and the doors are quite small. I'm under six foot and had to duck quite a bit just to get in! Funny place, I...

Our room was fine but the decor was a little strange...not sure what theme they were going for but seemed to us to be a bit of the wild west mixed in with a desert theme...rifles in the room were a little odd! We arrived late - too late for us to eat a big meal and they were kind...

Stayed one night on a G Adventures tour. Not sure what you should expect in the way of accommodations at Aït Benhaddou, but Riad Maktoub offers clean, basic rooms. The furnishings showed some wear, there was only one electrical outlet, and the lighting was adequate, but not bright. The bath had a shower and a small sink; no shelves or...

We stumbled in the restaurant after a very hot visit to the Ksar and it was so nice! I could have my feet in the pool while waiting for the food, which was very good and even catering for my vegetarian needs. It was a very pleasant, cool and calm place to sit, with friendly staff and a very nice...

Although we were given a very spacious room with its own private balcony, we found this riad to be a bit unkept and in some areas (and in need of maintenance) and the communal dining room very dark and uninviting - a bit like a cave. The breakfast was not good and in terms of quantity was the worst we'd...

Our travel company described this riad as a simple desert inn, and If ratings were based on outward appearances alone this three star establishment would score very well. A well-presented building in desert-style materials and architecture, the interior was attractive and included a courtyard with pool. The riad also does very well with its food offerings; our chicken tagine was...
