We stayed two nights at Cocohut and all I can say it wasn't long enough! It was absolutely amazing at the base of the sea view in an around the beach. Both the nights we dined at the restaurants in the retreat and both meals did not disappoint. Our chalet was fantastic. Thank you to the friendly staff

We stayed in 2 of the beach chalets and while they were a little shabby, they were clean and functional for a few days relaxing on the beach. The restaurant served good food, especially the BBQ fish in the evenings. Staff were always friendly and arranged our transfers to and from Kuala Besut Jetty without any issues. Would not hesitate...

We stayed here for 4 nights and was really disappointed with the rooms. The room are old, smelly and the toilet door cannot lock properly! Our room is a garden view but in reality all you get is a view of the hut in front of yours. They served a good breakfast and meals at affordable prices.

The problem with places like the perhentians is that the people will always come and due to the limited amount of accommodation available it means that some hotels provide poor service but will never suffer the consequences and this is exactly what has happened at the New Coconuts. Firstly there is nothing new about them having clearly been built some...

Stayed here for 4 nights and was really disappointed with the rooms. They are old and tired, aircon is poor, but does have a fan, walls are dirty and the sheets don't even fit the bed. We were meant to have a garden view but in reality all you get is a view of the hut in front of yours,...

We stayed there for 4days/3nights. The room was up in the hills, not a good point for us. Big space with 2 queen size beds and balcony. TV is only showing local channels, but well, we are not there to watch tv 😉. Water pressure is okay. The sad thing is that they don't clean the room until you check-out....

We stayed in August and the price was 220MR which is expensive for Malaysia. The room was mid range standard, comfortable, clean, nice view, big beds but don't understand why they have no bed sheet on top of the duvet/doona, it made it uncomfortable sleeping. It was nice watching storms roll in from the balcony in the evenings, obviously no...

I was here with a group of friends and this was one of the best resorts I have stayed at. The chalets' design is simple and the rooms are clean. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Always asking "How was your day?". Every meal was top notch and the dining area has a great view. You could have your...
